Question: I am obsessed with death help, do i need to see a shrink!?
so I am pretty ,uch obsessed with death, any kind of death, its interesting and mysterious!. When I was little like 5-10 every birthday I would ask my parents if i could have it at a cementery, I watch a lot of psychological thrillers that make you think a lot, I read books on serial killers so far my fave is the iceman: Richard Kuklinski!. I have always wanted to do forensics but you have to go to med school and I cant deal with blood!. I can deal with dead bodies (worked at mortuary and went to a high school program at UNR for medical school summer program) and that did not bother me at all in fact lunch was right after!.!.!. my question is do you think i have a psychological problem and should see a shrink or what!!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope, its normal!. Well i wouldnt say 100% normal cos most people dont get obsessed with death,but if they arent obsessed with death then they are most likely to be obsessed over something else!. Im very much the same as you, i find death very interesting and i love seeing blood and also obsessed with watching horror movies and i know other people who are very much the same!. I mean have you ever read the lyrics from a Death Metal band before!? now thats what i call messed up! So i think its fine, but if you become really obsessed and worried then i would go see someone about this!. But otherwise keep on rockin in the free world!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think people are so-called "obsessed" with death because they like the reaction they get out of people!. I think people do it for the shock value and nothing more!. I work with the dead every day, yet I'm not "obsessed" with it!. Why!? Because I am not looking for attention in innappropriate places!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
To me, it sounds slightly weird, but it does not sound like you have a problem!. Is it getting in the way of your relationships!? Stopping you from working!? or going to school!? are you suicidal!? homicidal!? (I hope not)!. Right now, it sounds just like something that is not affecting you or anyone else around you in a poor way!. If it begins to affect you in a bad way, or your relationships or people around you, then see a doctor!. if not, enjoy your freaky thoughts!Www@Answer-Health@Com
