I have to tell you that I am in the exact same boat as you are! I have been seeing my therapist for almost 2 years now, and we are both females, so there is no sexual attraction, but I just love seeing her!. She is in her mid 40s and I am 24, and I sometimes wish that she was my friend more than my therapist!. It is hard, and sometimes I feel that it interferes with my therapy!. I wrote her a note last week about how I felt, and she was very kind to say that she felt very flatttered and although she can't directly say it, I know she feels that same way!. Talk to your therapsit about how you feel, or write him/her a letter about it!. Because trust me, down the road, your feelings may start to interfere with your sessions and what you are working on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

probably just means you have found the right one, I used to like going to my therapist but then I had to see someone else and I didn't get on as well with him so I quit going!. If you get a lot from therapy and are getting better and see it as a positive thing then that's good!. It would be bad however if you relied on therapy for the rest of your life as I think the general goal is to get better and not need it anymore but as long as you're doing ok atm and benifiting from it then I think its a good thing!. Just my thoughts :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hated my therapist because she was given to me because it was court ordered and she didn't have any experience with my problems!. Don't be ashamed to like your therapist!. That is great if you do, it means you can have a relationship with them and trust them about helping you and I wish that is something I could have had!. Don't feel weird about it for one minute, be proud that you have someone to trust!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're very fortunate to like your therapist because this means that he or she will be able to really help you! I love it when the therapist, who is an objective, empathetic professional, offers me a new perspective and approach to my problems!. IMHO, liking your therapist is absolutely essential to your progress!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't really like going to my psychiatrist because i felt that i have to talk all my problems and secret to him!.it's kinda embarassing!.he just keep asking why i did that!.but i don't know myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes i like seeing my therapist!. She makes me feel better, laugh, and actually enjoy the little bit of life that I can!. Theres nothing wrong with enjoying your time with someone who wants to help you!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i do sometimes i like it and others it seams like i get nothing out of it!. i just open up so others will open up so we can relate to eachother and oue different experiencesWww@Answer-Health@Com
