There's a great book, "Bipolar Disorder for Dummies", which I strongly encourage you to read!. It's got all the latest info!.
If you can get some group therapy for yourself and your siblings, the therapist can teach you how to handle your problems with your dad and set boundaries with him!. Family therapy would also be helpful!.
If you can't swing the therapy thing, talk to your school counselor, who may be able to set something up for you!. Emotional abuse is common in bipolar parents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gosh!.!.!.he sounds like my ex! Sorry!. Just give him some space when he's having an episode!. Is he under a physician's care to help him to deal with it!? You might wanna do some research and get answers and suggestions from professionals on the internet to get some suggestions that have been tried and known to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
