Answers:
i'd say you should dress up, feel beautiful, and feel confident!.

remember, the salon is a face-to-face service industry!. so the more happy, confident, and charismatic you look, the better you'll be suited for the position!.

skills and technique can be taught, but personally is something you develop on your own!. so i bet they're looking for a good personality mainly, to start off with!. i can't imagine they want a boring person even if they had top-notch skill!.!.!.

good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get super nervous too - here are the tips that I found to be most useful:

(1) Dress for success - if you're dressed appropriately and have gone to extra trouble for your appearance - you feel more confident!.

(2) Practice! Have someone ask you questions that the other person makes up so you aren't ready for them!.

(3) Find something to focus on that makes it appear that you are looking the interviewer in the eye - then, the person will never know that you have trouble with eye contact!.

(4) Look up sample interview questions - I have done this and rehearsed answers and at least 1/2 of the questions that I look up are asked by the interviewer and I already have an answer for them!

(5) Take a notepad with some sample questions and answers and most importantly, have at least 3 questions that you want to ask! That makes the interviewer know that you are truly interested!. Such as: "What type of skills/talents would the person that is chosen for the position have!?"

(6) Follow up with a thank you note always - make sure you get the interviewer's full name or business card so you can e-mail or send a thank you letter - this is key - a lot of interviewers will immediately discard you if you do not follow-up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Practice!. Try to think of questions they may ask and rehearse your answers!. Sometimes recording yourself is a good idea so you can play it back and see if you sound silly!.

2) Be confident (not conceded)!. Stop worrying about the interview you didn't get, it obviously wasn't meant to be!. If you are the right one for the spot, it will work out!. So go in there, be honest, be yourself, and don't worry!. Make eye contact!.

3) It all in the numbers!. Every interview that doesn't go well is just another practice interview for the position you really want!. The more interviews you go on, the better you become!.

4) Bring a notepad, take notes!. They love it! It makes them feel like you are paying attention and really care!. Shows them you will be a good listener once you come on board!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I always like to think that this interview doesn't matter, it's like I'm talking to my mom or my best friend!. If they don't like me for who I am then it doesn't matter!. I try not to think about it so much!. Always look them in the eye, and try to be as mature and polite as possible!. If you think it's going badly, just try to center yourself, and have fun with it, try to have FUN, and be yourself, that's what always seems to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Practice speaking in front of friends or family, and make sure you give plenty of eye contact to them!. This way, you'll know what to do during the interview!. Also while the interview is happening, just be yourself and think about how you want to make a good impression on these people, that will help!. And to be proffessional, defenitley dress nice and be polite as possible!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to calm down quickly
breath deep in through your nose and push your stomach out then breathe out through your mouth this is a really easy way to feel relexed and confident
for the interview itself think of it as your are trying to sell yourself, so make yourself sound really experince even if your not (dont lie though)
and think of the person who is interviewing you as a friend not as employer
hope this helps, good luck with finding a placementWww@Answer-Health@Com

Dress professionally, it helps with your self esteem!. Be prepared with some answers to general questions!.Have a smile on your face during the interview!. Work out before the interview, it releases energy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try Meditation!. It may sound weird but it is probably one of the best (and most healthy) relaxation methods out there!.

Beyond that it will be up to you alone to develop the will to stay focused and unafraid!.

One, practice makes perfect!. Every single person who has a job has had to get one with no experience at some point!. Many jobs like to hire on those without experience so they can train them the way they want them to be!.

Eye contact is important!. To look away all the time makes a person feel like you aren't telling the truth!. Make yourself open up and look at another person!. Don't stare at them the entire time!. But while giving answers give the option for that person to look into your eyes!. Most people base a hire on is how that person came off!. Did they seem honest!? Did they look shifty!?

Before answering, take a deep breath!. From the minute you sit down with someone you are interviewing you can say this!.

I'm a bit nervous as this is the first time I have ever looked for a job!. People will understand!. When the interview comes towards an end!.!.!. and they ask you a question!. Make sure you have one!. A good one!. You can even ask what they think you could do to improve on your interview skills!. It's a valid question and one that might make them rethink your application!

A deep breath often helps in answering!. Make sure it isn't a loud breath!. But a deep one gives you a moment to think about your answer!. Then answer it, you don't have to rush to answer!. Slowing down helps with the stuttering!. It's because you want to get out the answers quickly and we all know quickly rarely is good!.

Make sure you do not drink alcohol or do any type of drug before hand!. No one will hire someone in that state!

The morning of an interview, get up early and run!. Run like crazy!. Wear yourself out more!. Then take a shower and get ready!. You'll be too tired too be so tightly wound!. It will calm your nerves some!.

Also, many herbal teas can help sooth you!. Drinking too much of it can cause you to have to go to the bathroom during and interview and that isn't good either!.

As i said!. All people who work were once inexperienced and had to get a job anyway!. It's ok!. Watch ads in the paper, often they'll say experienced only, don't bother with those!. All else are open to hiring someone without experience!.

You'll do fine!. Tell yourself every day that you have a great work ethic that anyone would be lucky to get!. Tell yourself every day that you are worth hiring!. Tell yourself over and over again until you start to believe in yourself!.

Maybe, just maybe, see a councellor to help you with yoru self esteem!. Good luck and happy job hunting!.

By the way, it's no fun looking for a job even when you are experienced, so you are not alone!Www@Answer-Health@Com
