Hello!!! We've never met, but what a coincidence!.!.!. Freakymemorylapse is my middle name!!!!.!.!. uh!.!.!. what were we talking about again!?!?!? All right, you are young, but this type of thing will probably plague your late late 30's and beyond as a normal aging thing!. As for now, sometimes you very simply have too many distractions in your mind, or you are not focused enough on the task at hand!. You may also notice this happening during periods of elevated stress!. We go on auti-pilot sometimes!. Sounds too simple or impossible, right!? Let's look at it, though: If it is that you have too many distractions; it doesn't necessarily mean that there is too much going on in the room, or in your head on a conscious level, but subconsciously, you may have preoccupations, i!.e!. (Internal monologue) 'I have to call Sally later, too!.!.!. crap, do I have enough time to make dinner before that appointment or should I order out'!.!.!. !.!.!. This stuff gets in all of our heads!. It is just the fast paced world we live in!. Second, it could be that you are so on the ball, that you are doing things without thinking at all and then suddenly just
hit a snag!. Think about it this way!.!.!. do you think when you tie your shoes!? Yes!.!.!. but certainly not in any type of conscious way!.

Sometimes we are thinking enough to dial, but you are really not thinking about the call at all!.!.!. when you get to the leaving a message stage of it, your brain says consciously, "Crap! I should've called earlier!. She's probably on her way to work already!" and you look at the clock!. This is a conscious act, but the act of leaving a message itselfis going on simultaneously on a subconscious level!. See what I mean!?
Your brain simply paused when it realized it should be thinking consciously!. I really think that is all it was!. Reprioritization of your mind's actions!. I believe I am correct especially due to the fact that you have had this telephone number for so long now!. You have also probably experienced the same thing when you catch yourself giving the address you grew up at, or a woman may give her maiden name after several years of happy marriage!.!.!.

I hope this makes sense to you, I am sure you have nothing to worry about, but that being said, talk to a doctor if it seems to be a problem of a more serious nature after a while!.

I suggest that you journal at night before bed and avoid all stimulation for at least an hour before bedtime!. The other thing I highly recommend is that you take 10 minutes in the afternoon and either meditate or take a power nap!. Just 10 minutes to feel very revived and revitalized!. Everyone should decompress everyday!. It will help, I promise! Good luck to you !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
