How do I get rid of my bad dreams?!


Question: How do I get rid of my bad dreams!?
I have bad dreams every single time I sleep, they give me such a sad feeling when I wake up!.!. how can I get rid of these dreams!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know if this works for bad dreams, but I used to have the same recurring disturbing dreams of being lost in a city and I'd end up on a high bridge over a river that was brown, muddy, and a strong current!. They bothered me until I read somewhere, don't remember where, that if you write down your dreams they will stop!. I did write the dream down and it DID stop! I don't know if this will work for you, or even if you remember your dreams, but it's worth a try!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Establish a strict sleep schedule - everything off at the same time every night, up at the same time every day, including weekends!. Don't eat anything or drink anything but water (or maybe some chamomile tea) after 7 p!.m!. - 8 at the latest, because sometimes food and chemicals can cause nightmares!. One more thing: don't leave the television, computer, or stereo going while you're sleeping - the sounds they make can cause strange dreams - especially the TV!.

Once you have yourself settled into a good routine, start examining what the dreams are about and whether you have any psychological issues that need to be addressed - sometimes nightmares are your mind's way of letting you know that you are unhappy or afraid of something and not facing up to it!. Someone once told me, "If something is bothering you, deal with it while you're awake, or it will continue to bother you while you're asleep" and I think that's true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had this happen to me!. First of all, don't eat late at night, this tends to give you nightmares!. Also, Chocolate milk before going to sleep can also be a factor, although I still drink it before bed!. Try lighting some incense in your room, choose a relaxing smell, this relaxes your subconscience and eliminates bad dreams!. If you feel too cold at night that can be a factor, also if you feel too hot!. Make sure the temperature in your room is comfy!. If you want a natural sleeping pill that won't get you addicted, try Melatonin, or Kava Kava!. Both natural remedies that help you fall asleep and wake up naturally!. This used to happen to me!. I noticed that whenever I have sugar before going to bed, I have really bad dreams!. So don't eat sugar- It over hypers your mind!. Then before you go to bed, think of what good things have happened that day!. Or think about what you like to do and picture yourself doing it well in your head as you go to sleep!. YOu'll start to have GOOD dreams!.
Worked for meand will work for you!. Also drink some water, but not too much or else you'll wet yourself!. Drink this just before you go to bed!. It'll keep you hydrated so you don't feel groggy and you're mind will stay fresh!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Think good thoughts before you sleep!.!.!. and if you wake up in the middle of the night after a nightmare, stay awake until you feel comfortable again and think no more of the nightmare!.

In waking-life, surround yourself with positive things and people!. Try to achieve goals and dreams!. Be happy!

well sometimes it takes alot, of days, once i had a horrible night mare when i was 5 it was a guy with a saw and i looked at the other houses and the windows got sawed off, and he was orange so if i looked out a window he would be there, then in the dream i ran to my moms room but he almost got in so i ran to a wall that had no windows and he had a little puppet with him, then i went to my parents room and hid under the blanket, and they woke up, and i started to go by the window then he put his head in it so i ran and he cut of peoples heads and they surronded are house, then i woke up i lost my tooth that night so i found a kitty, and i went down to tell my mom the bad dream and she said wow, and the houses looked like they look in real life with the windows hanging that was freaky for me when i was 5! and dont eat lots of sugar, and think happy thoughts!Www@Answer-Health@Com
