Do you ever have those days when you're sick of pills and everything is just!


Question: Do you ever have those days when you're sick of pills and everything is just crappy!?
Some of you must know that feeling!. Where the one random side effect grabs you on a specific day when you skip breakfast or you just get tired of the notion that you need brain drugs at all!.
I'm on the right meds and generally just fine, but having a rough day!. What do you do to pick yourself up and just feel a little more chipper!?

Comfort foods and healthy foods help me!. Also!.!.going for a bike ride or walk and sitting in a park talking to the elderly makes me feel better!. When you feel that way!.!.try to think of how great it is to be alive and notice the small things!. Explore your world!. Toss some birdseed out in the yard and watch the birds!. Read some cool quotes!.!.such as Gandhi!. Look for a recipe!.!.!.make something yummy!. Life is too short to linger in our dark places!.!.and yes!.!.we all have those times!. Yea I feel like that often,I'm on three kind of medications right now!.I listen to music while searching the Internet when i feel down but also do other things like talking with friends on the Internet or on the phone,watch movies,play video games or sometimes i go take a walk or exercise!.Exercising is recommended by mental health professional because it has been proved to improve the mental health of everyone because of the brain chemistry actually change a bit while doing certain physical activities!.But for me loud music do it most of the time but it really depends on the individual!.We all have our likes and dislikes about how we pass time or how to feel more energize!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are experiencing the normallity of life!. People get that way in normal times!. You need to spark it up a bit to keep you out of the doldrums!. That's just a normal rut!.
Research ruts on the internet and print up some creative ways to keep things interesting!. Don't get off the meds, because you might be one in a million that has found one that works!.
Keep your print ups in a place you can have them available to you at all times and pull them out to remind you of ways to pull yourself out of a rut!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I totally understand! I take meds for my bipolar and when I'm having a pity party for myself, I'm mad that God made me this way and "how come my brother doesn't have this!?" blah bah blah!. To snap out of it- I remind myself what my life was like BEFORE the meds and what a mess!! Then I am so thankful that I am where I am today!.!.!.!. it's normal to get annoyed about the meds and their side effects!. But just try and remember the reason you take them, and how they make you feel/act better!. If we had high blood pressure or cancer or another condition, we would take our meds for those things and I'm sure that the side effects of those drugs aren't always pleasant either :) You are not alone in the way you feel!.!.!.!.!. it's ok!! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I tell myself life is full of ups and downs!. When things don't go so good, there is another day to explore tomorrow and see if that feels better then!. It can not be ALL bad, there is some variety in the way days go!. I tend to listen to music if I feel a little down or my favorite show, or to go and do something I just enjoy!. I just spent ALOT to have my c/a unit fixed!. I don't have the cash to spare but I had to or suffer in a VERY hot house!. LIFE is full of choices , we can sit and feel sorry for ourselves or we can say that is not going to get the best of me!. It's up to you how you choose to handle such things in life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say find something you like to do in life!. call up the girls go out with them go shopping alone or with them!. You could alwyas do yoga or go in a hot tub and just relax!. Every one has days where they feel like **** and no one is perfect so i would say just relax and take it easy or you can take a nap and hopefully sleep it off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have those same kinds of days, and some days I can fix it, some days not!. Some days I try to clean house or exercise really hard to get my mind off of how I feel, and other days I just want to be alone and lay in bed watching Lifetime TV!.!.!.lol!.!.!.But mainly, I found that if I stay busy, I rarely have time to stop and think about how I feel!. The hardest part is getting myself up to get busy!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah,i remeber my previous psychiatrist gives me quite a lot of pills which i don't remember anymore!.after taking it for a few months i felt tired of it and didn't went to see the doctor anymore!.now i'm seeing another psychiatrist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
