Question: Presciption for ritalin!.!?
When I was young my parents put me on ritalin for ADD!. I'm in university and finding that I can never fully concentrate during class and am always drifting off into thoughts!. Can I go to my GP and request a prescription or is there some other process!? Keep in mind it has been about 15 years since I have taken it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, TELLING your Dr!. what you want him to write you a prescription for is a sure fire way to get him NOT to do it!. They hate that!. Secondly, These meds are schedule 3 meds !.!.!. no small ordeal and not to be taken lightly!. Thirdly, adult ADD is treated differently than childhood!. Usually Stratera or something like that is given!. Just tell you dr!. what you said in your Q and let him decide what is best!. He / she may think you need to be tested first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A prescription for Ritalin as an adult may not be so easy to score fro a GP!. Ritalin is a favorite (speed) drug of choice for recreational drug abusers!.
