Only a doctor would know for sure, but i've never heard of Wellbutrin being prescribed specifically for OCD!. It may be because Wellbutrin inhibits the reuptake of dopamine receptors - and some dopamine antagonists are - oddly - reputed to cause anxiety (not sure the reason why)!. Wellbutrin is known to make some people feel jittery and anxious as a side effect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I take Wellbutrin SR and also Lexapro, the doctor told me the Wellbutrin will not work for anxiety - and that's why I'm also taking the Lexapro!.
