Seriously, when I am on a plane I have panic attacks and I CANNOT calm down!. Is it possible to get panic medication only for flights!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, there is medication to sedate you, but this is a question only your Dr!. can answer!. The problem with most is that it can last for up to four to six hours, which means when its time to get off the plane, you would probably still be woozy!.

I had to go in for a medical procedure one time that I was fearful of because I had to stay awake when it was going on!. The Dr!. gave me some sedatives to take before I got to the hospital!. Yes, your doctor can certainly prescribe something for you, but have you also thought about therapy!? There are some very good, brief programs specifically designed for those afraid of flying, and I think the success rate is pretty high!. That way, you can cut off the problem at the knees and not have to rely on meds in the long term!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your fear may be deeper than you know!. the best way to find out is talk to someone who is knowledgeable about how to control/prevent the attacks!. I suggest you visit the pharmacy, they have products tha may assit you with minimizing the effect of the attacks!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
