Question: I took Effexor XR and sleeping med and I feel calm and sleepy!?
Finally i feel much better!. Whenever I'm on Effexor XR itself it makes me sick liI like crazy!. I feel like my body is about to explode when taking it!. I feel like I'm in pain and like I'm dead!. So maybe if I added sleep med i might feel a lil better!. I feel a lil better!.!.yeah!.!. but I'm at work and I'm really sleepy now!.!. I 'm controlling it!. I don't drink coffeee because they are bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A LOT of people take antidepressants and sleeping meds!. You're probably not going to die unless you took an overdose of one or the other!. However, it's never good to mess around with medicating yourself- ESPECIALLY when you're taking prescription meds!. If Effexor is not for you, then try something else!. I know how that sounds since you've taken other things before (I read your earlier question), but I have been on psychotropic meds for 23 years and have had to change them fairly often!. Most of the people I know who are on them for any length of time will say the same thing!. All the docs can do is trial and error- there's no ONE single thing that makes a psychiatrict illness better- each individual is different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you have to take sleeping meds at work to counter act the medicaton, i think its time for a new medicationWww@Answer-Health@Com
