Anxiety and Panic!?!

Question: Anxiety and Panic!!?
So I used to have an anxiety and panic disorder due too marijuana abuse!.!.!. But I went in and started to see a therapist for a good six months after realizing that hiding out in my basement being an agoraphobic paranoid freak was not helping!. That was 3 and a half years ago!. After the therapy everything was fun up until about a year ago when I got pregnant a second time!. Since them my anxiety and panic attacks are HORRIBLE!.!.!. they are getting gradually worse too! Sometimes they come out of the blue when I am not even doing anything that should cause it in anyway! I cant take much more and i dont wanna be stuck on Xanax or anything like that because it can be addicting, and not only that but I cant stand being anything other then sober!. Or else it gives me severe panic attacks!. So I guess with this small history I am asking what can I do to make this stop!? A healthy way if you will! Please I feel so alone!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, I'm sorry you feel alone, just know you aren't!. Panic attacks are sooo scary!. Are you seeing a counselor about this!? They can help to teach you to control your anxiety/lpanic through biofeedback!. I guess the major thing for me is this-I've had enough of them to know that, no matter how scared I am at the time, I'm not going to die!. After a while you get to the point where you just feel it and let it pass!. Eventually you don't even get too upset rather, you get annoyed because you know how unproductive it is and that there really is nothing there to scare you!. Good job on staying sober, and you can do this!. you know you won't die, it is just a really scary feeling and it will pass!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you sure it wasn't triggered by post par tum syndrome !? did you notify your doctor !? how is your relationship with the baby's father!? try a group meeting, similar to AA but with other mothers, you will surely start up a support group and be of help to someone and they in urn will help you !. Feels rewarding and puts the focus outside !. Good-Luck SissyWww@Answer-Health@Com

you are not alone i to suffer and pregnency seems to bring it out!.are you up to trying antidepressents !?welbutrin has a low risk of side effects!.you mention you have issues with addiction did you use to ease your anixity as well !?please arrange to see a therepist!.Group theapy is also helpful!.!.!.getting togeather with other people suffer you may like it i wish you luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

counseling might help!. no meds, just someone you can talk to and try to find the cause of the panic and anxiety!. they can give you some natural methods to try, deep breathing, visual exercises, yoga, meditation!. idk, i know some people who get paranoid smoking pot, but not to that degree!. you may have some underlying issues!. i'm on klonopin, supposed to less addictive and i don't feel effed up on it, just calm!.

and are you sure you weren't agoraphobic and that's whay you started smoking pot!? remember too that with a recent pregnancy and birth your hormones are all over the place!. you could have some symptoms of post depression issues!.

other than that, i would say exercise, try to keep a fairly normal schedule, try to go out a little everyday to just get yourself in the habit, start a mood journal (you can find them online) stop eating processed foods, add more fruit and veggies, find a good whole food vitamin, drink more water, eat more fiber!.

i'm sorry you're going through this right now, i would try to find a counselor, not a shrink!. the psychs will always try to get you on meds, the counselor will determine if you really need them!. plus, in my experience, they care and actually listen and spend the time with you they should!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
