Answers:
I know what your going through!.

I'm soon to be 18!.
I have no job!.
I'm starting community college soon in the fall!.
I cant drive!. I have EXTREME fear and anxiety of driving so I don't have my license!.
and!.!.guess what!. You even have more money than I do! lol!.

don't worry!.
what I would do is!.!.!.!.!.!.!.find a job!.

Find one you can walk to!. If you cant find one you can walk to!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.take a bus!. Start getting your life together that way!. When you get money!.!.!.your job can work around your drivers ed classes and/or college classes!.

Don't fret!. You will get through it!. and so will I!.
It just takes time!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and a little rough patch that will be soon to pass once you get things going!.

I'm guessing you live in a town that doesn't have good public transportation!?
You're going to have to get a job, that's where you've got to start!. Take the bus, or bike, and maybe you'll meet someone at work to carpool with!.
DON'T OBSESS OVER GETTING THE PERFECT JOB, just take the first thing you can get, then you don't waste time on working towards getting a car/going to CC/movingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well just because you dropped out doesn't make you a loser okay!. I graduated and had the same thoughts so that is normal and i had a baby girl to take care of!. You are going to be okay calm down and look for a job and go from there!. Use the money you have saved up for a bus ticket!. Until you can save enough to get a car!. Everything is going to be okay just be thankful for what you do have someone out there is worse off than you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly it's great that you wrote in! Thank you!.!.!.!.
Secondly, give yourself time to grow into the new phase of your life that you are now facing!

You can use public transport and I'd recommend reaching for a job, because it will give you a direction!. Once you start earning some money, you will feel empowered!

All the very best in your next chapter!Www@Answer-Health@Com

man go to school, take a bus and train but go to school if u don't do it now u never will!. there will be plenty of time to work and drive!. school will also get u to mingle with others so that would solve your "shy" problem!.!.school is definitly the best way to go, school, part time job, make a friend drive his/her car, if not lessens they cost form 20 to 30 bucks per class depending on where u are!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds to me as if you are clinically depressed, and should see your doc for some depression medication!.
That said, can you find some type of mass transportation (bus, light rail, train) to get you to and from school!?
Looking at "should have, would have, could have" is not productive!. Just look at how to improve your life from here on out!. Finding a job and/or going to school is going to do nothing but help your life get back on track!. Do you have a stable roof over you head while you work on these goals!? If not, there are government programs you can apply for to help you out!!! Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your priorities have a little to do with your obligations!.!. My advice from experience is: Don't work full time unless you absolutely have to!.!. Once you get a taste of money and independence, it's very hard to go back to school!.!. And life goes by faster than you expect it to!.!. How far are you from a school!? what is public transportation like where you are!? If you know what you want to go to school for, seek advisement there, and they may be able to set you up with a work study related to your program, or one that has nothing to do with your degree- but it would allow you the convenience of working and learning without long bus trips and lots of walking!.!. Financial aid comes in all forms, so you can go to school regardless of what's in your wallet, and some schools have payment plans!. Stay humble, live modest, persue an education, and then persue lucrative endeavors!. It doesn't matter why you dropped out, it matters how you pick yourself up!. The fact that you're thinking of becoming an educated and self sufficient person demonstrates maturity, ambition, and intelligence that exceeds most 18 year olds these days!.!. I dropped out at 15 years old, got my GED at 17 and started community college at 22 years old!.!. I'm 25 now and 2 semesters from becoming a registered nurse, and I'll walk with honors and loan forgiveness because I'll sign with a critical shortage facility!.!. My earning potential and job security right now (if I were to stop my studies today) are exponentially higher than when I worked as a grocery clerk and cashier for 6 years!.!. Put school first and enjoy being young, you have your whole life to work and pay bills!.!. You can do anything you put your mind to, no matter how shy you are and how many friends are there to help you (trust me, I speak from experience)!.!. Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Join the Marine Corps!. I am 20 years old and i dropped out of school in the 11th grade!. I used to smoke a lot of pot, slack off and was not motivated at all!. I enlisted in the Marines after i get my GED and it completley changed me!. I am motivated, confident and have the honor of being part of the most elite brotherhood there is!. It will change who you are in a positive way!. Bootcamp is tough but it is completley worth it!. They will give you money for school and putting United States Marine on your resume will give you an advantage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK!.!.!.I am going to give you an idea, but you REALLY need to take THIS idea seriously, and NOT as a joke, OK!. It is a commitment, and has helped MILLIONS of "kids" in your predicament, and can REALLY give you a STRONG path to start out on!. Have you heard of JOB CORPS!? Not the military!.!.!.You won't be shot at!.!.!., but they TEACH YOU HOW to be an adult, give you WONDERFUL skills (a TRADE, so that YOU can get an AWESOME job), they provide you with a place to live, money for "small things (meaning not enough to get into trouble with)", and when you graduate, YOU WILL HAVE A CAREER!! My friend went and got his HVAC certification FREE!! (Heating Ventilation and air conditioning)!. This PAYS HUGE!! ANd, he LEFT the program, about a year or 18 months, and had a few thousand dollars to start his life off with!. You can finish your GED, take Driver's Ed!. And have some mentoring, for it sounds like THAT is what you need!.!.!.a mentor--someone to LOOK UP TO!. Think about it!. AND REALLY--consider it!. I would if I wasn't so old!. You are perfect, and you could be a success, not a statistic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi LIbby!.!.I just want to say that you should talk to your family and either A)get a ob working with them, B)get a job working the same time they do or C) move to the city, you could put in advertisements about needing a roommate and see if anyone contacts you!.!.!.move to the city and get a job close to your house and walk!. I walk to work everyday!.!.!.it isn't so bad!.
Then do whatever you need to do and try to get your license or buy a mopad, then enroll at a community college (I'd say for the fall of 2009) and be on your way!

Why did I get a thumbs down!? That was what I had to do starting out!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok!. well, you have your ged; thats good!. Comm!. college is good for a goal too!.

Drivers license is good but useless without a car or acess to one!. Do you have good credit for a car loan!? Would your parents/ guardian let you borrow a car!? Have you looked up drivers ed classes in your area!? Your $300 would be able to pay for that class + drivers license fees!. Is there anyone that can help you with transportation at all until you get your license/ own car!?

You do need a job!. Are there any places nearby where you could work at!? Is there any public transportation near you!?

With college, you may be able to get financial aid!. You may want to work for awhile and save money for college!. You may need to work part time and go to college too!.

Advice can only go so much!. Only you can take the actions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
