Question: Have you ever called the Suicide hotline!?
and they put you on hold!? I called them a couple of days ago really upset and considering hurting myself and the lady was really nice but she kept putting me on hold and eventually told me that she had to go and I could call back if I wanted!. I thought they were supposed to be there for you and I've heard that they talked to some people for hours!. It's not like I was ungreatful for her advice because she did give good advice but I found it annoying that I was all depressed and crying and she told me to call back!. Has this ever happened to you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My fiancee phoned one once, under pretty much the same circumstances and they put him on hold too!. He phoned very late/early one day!.!.!.around 3!.30am!. I am assuming that she was the only one answering the phones at that time!. Yet it is still inexcusable!
I used to volunteer at a crisis center during the day and we had at least 2 staffers there at one time!. I did work one overnight and I was lucky that I did not get a call like yours!.!.!.

Another reason to go see someone in person!. If the advice she gave you made you hurt more, don't listen to it or the thoughts that made you call the Suicide Hotline in the first place!. Right something down thats positive and look up some nice meditation techniques, they seem to work well with me!. Everyone is different though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
God didn't put you here to look down and see you wanting to come back!. Learn to love life and meditate through the tough times but never call upon death because God don't like that!. Them suicide hot lines are a piece of bull and if you are thinking of killing your self you might think about heading for the nearest emergency room or psychiatric clinic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
My friends and I called it on the bus one time, only to see what they say!. All that happened was some woman who didn't really seem to care kept asking where my friend lived and how old she was!. We hung up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I have called on several occasions and everyone was very helpful!. they stay on the phone until i was ready to let them go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
