Question: Switching from generic to brand name (prozac)!?
Hey I just started taking gen-fluoxetine, but I was not told it would be generic!.!.!.I was hoping it would be brand name!. I go back to see the psychiatrist in like 12 days, would there be a point in me asking to switch from generic to brand name!? Since they didn't discuss it much, I hope that I can!.!.!. Thanks for answers

I love fluoxetine! I have always taken the generic but it works great!. I have actually lost weight while being on it and have had no negative side effects!. I would highly recommend it!. And it's cheaper too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I went from Lexapro to generic Prozac (fluoxetine) and I felt the difference!. I am not back on Prozac and feeling great again, but I am told that these medicines work differently for everyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There is no appreciable difference whatsoever!.

The price is the difference!.!. And most insurance will take the cost of a generic form cause its not cheap I'd say is what its all about!? GOOD LUCkWww@Answer-Health@Com
