Question: Im bipolar and im on limictal for it !?
im feeling sick to my stomic all day and had a real bad head ack i just started 100 mg today i have progresivly 25 50 now im on the 100 mg i was kinda wondering if this is normal!? then i feel like something is biting me like a bug but realy there isnt anyways can someone help meWww@Answer-Health@Com

The stomach ache is common with any psychiatric medication, it will pass as your body gets used to the medication!.
The headache is the famous "Lamictal Headache"!. It goes away in 3-4 days, until then take Extra-Strength Excedrin or something similar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to ask your pharmacy for the script that goes along with you Lamictal prescription!. Lamictal is DANGEROUS!!!!
There are other types of mood stabilizers that they can prescribe to you!. Everyone is different, but I would look into a med called Eskalith!. It's a form of Lithium, which is more natural than some of these other synthetic meds, Unlike Lithium, it is coated as to be easier on your stomach lining!.!.!.

I'm bipolar, and I once tried to take Lamictal!. They started me at 25mg, then increased to 50mg, then to 100mg, and by the time I was at 150mg I was having severe headaches and throwing up and I lost 20 pounds in one month, and I had to stop taking Lamictal!. After I stopped taking it, I still had headaches (but not as bad) for four months!.

I take Lamictal!. I'd call your doc and ask if you can back down to a 25mg increase instead of jumping to a 50mg increase!. I had to do this and it made a big difference!.
The stomach ache is probably adjusting to the med and should go away in a couple days!. Eat starchy food and drink something like 7-up!. The headache can take longer to go away, but it should, too!.
I really like this medication!. It is my antidepressant since I can't take them!. I also know many others who like it as well!. Talk to your doc and give it a chance!. they prolly have u on too much u should call and let ur dr kno!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I was diagnosed as bipolar and they kept putting me on diff meds and then kept upping the doses and i was getting so sick i would wake up in the middle of the night crying cuz of muscle spasms so after months of putting me on all kinds of different meds i stopped and decided to medicate myself with marijuana!.
