My dad is being very pressing on the SAT...how can I cope?!

Question: My dad is being very pressing on the SAT!.!.!.how can I cope!?
I'm preparing for the SAT a year early with intense math tutoring and I'm going through the book (English-wise) and I'm very serious about both of these things--obviously!.!.!.the tutoring and the book cost money so I'm going to take advantage of both of those!.
Anyway, my dad is being VERY pressing about the SAT!. Any chance there is to talk about it--he will!. And he'll bring up my mediocre-ish scores on the PSAT as well as on an evaluative test for the SAT/ACT that I took!.
Point in case--I visited a college campus recently and began talking about it casually!.!.!.just commenting on how big it was, or what not etc!.!.!.to this he feels inclined to say: "Well, I wouldn't!.!.!.just concentrate on right now!. I mean, the scores!.!.your scores were on the lower end!. If you don't do something to bring them up, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment!."
How can I deal with this and find some confidence in myself!? Any suggestions!? Thank you in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This can be crazy stuff!. I used to believe that the best way to get through it was to read as much as possible (vocab and comprehension) and to do well enough in math to get into the better classes in school!. This doesn't work for everyone!. I never studied for the SATs, but did take a review course from Princeton Review for the GREs (grad school equivalent of SATs)!. The thing that is best about taking a course from Kaplan or Princeton Review, is that they diagnose your weaknesses so you can work on them more intensively, without wasting time reviewing your strong areas!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i wish i'd had someone to push me harder - my parents were ho hum about whether i went to college after high school - so i didn't!.

i didn't find the motivation to go back until i was in my mid-twenties, married, and working a full-time job that i hated!.

work hard, power through, and don't let the little comments your father makes beat you down!. he just wants to see you succeed!Www@Answer-Health@Com

give him somthing he likes and talk nice to himWww@Answer-Health@Com
