Answers:
I've been on Paxil for roughly 4 months and I haven't gained any weight, maybe a pound here or there but nothing big at all!. And I don't even exercise so I doubt it will be a problem with you!.

As for the side effects, it's made me really antsy!. I can't seem to sit still!. But my dr assured me that once I'm on a higher dose it should calm down!. It made me really numb for a while as well!. I didn't feel happy or sad, then i started getting better but I missed a few days and now I'm back to the numb feeling!.

Just keep an eye out for anything abnormal, weight shouldn't be the only thing you look out for!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Psych meds effect each person differently!. Weight gain is most typically due to the amount and type of food you put in your mouth and/or reduced activity!. These are usually symptoms of depression and can become habits that stick around after depression lifts!. In other words, the gain usually isn't metabolic!. For some, it is!. If you go in knowing it can be a problem and start with a diet and increased exercise, your odds are lower than otherwise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i excercied and my eating habits were horrible!. i ate the same fatty crap everyday and acually lost weight!. boy was my doctor shockedWww@Answer-Health@Com

You will probably have to stay pretty active and eat right and that will make the weight gain decrease at least a little bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
