Answers:
it's very common for people to feel worse once they start treatment for mental health problems!.

this is often because they are starting to look at and deal with issues that they may have previously ignored or denied!.

it does get better though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I felt worse when I initially started treatment because they put me on an anti-depressant when it turned out I'm bipolar, so I went manic and not in a happy way!. However, one I started getting settled on my medication I started feeling better!. It's a process and it can be a two steps forward one step back type situation!. It requires patience!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been put in treatment several times!.!.!.five actually!. It never seems to work for me!. I get out and then I become unhappy again within like a month or so!. I guess some people can not seem to grasp the ideas of coping skills!? Proper medication also helps!. I was put on depakote in one hospital sure it worked but I gained probably like 50 or more pounds - no lie!. I guess it works for some people just depending on personality and willingness in some cases!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had more bad therapy than good!. Depends on ones condition, but it's hard to find a good practitioner!. Even the best won't work if you can't establish a trusting relationsip with them!.
Some feel worse because the therapist is telling them truths!.!.!.and they don't want to hear or believe themWww@Answer-Health@Com

cha!.!.!.it was awful!.!.!.i had a doctor just bounce me around from medication to medication!.!.!.she never even tried to find out why i was depressed, she would just ask if i was feeling better after a month, and when i said i was about the same or worse, she would change my meds!.!.!.worst year of my life!.!.!.but then i got a good counselor and a concrete diagnosis of borderline personality disorder and clynical depression!.!.!.and prozac, which worked wonders!.!.!.i also learned how to deal with the low points without meds, and have been without them for about a year now!.!.!.i've had a few lapses, but now i'm able to be honest to god happy, and take care of my problems myself!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been to two different psychologists and a pshyiatrist in the past two years!. After seeing them, I was unnaffected, and if I was it made my state worse!. This was because they focused on the wrong problems and did not take the time to understand!. The reason my psychiatrist didn't work was because he was too straightforward!. Sometimes you will have to exhaust yourself trying to find the right person to help you with your problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
