or am i ok!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you're super skinny, you're crossing the line into anorexia instead!. That, combined with your BDD, could cause some real problems--your brain isn't properly perceiving your body, and if that goes on you'll never be happy with yourself!. Worse, the longer your body weight stays too low, the worse your brain is at regulating food intake!.

Plus, of course, the obvious physical consequences!. I don't need to go over those; you're probably pretty worried already!.

Go and get yourself a counselor!. This sort of thing isn't very healthy, and whether or not you qualify for the diagnosis of either bulimia or anorexia, your actions aren't good for you!. You will need to work on changing them so that you can be healthier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It definitely sounds like you have an eating disorder, hun!. I know how scary it is to seek treatment for it (because "what if treatment makes me fat!?") but take it from someone who has recovered from an eating disorder and watched WAY too many people I love suffer - life IS better after recovery, you WON'T be fat, and you will live longer and learn how to love and take care of the body you are in!. You will be ok, but you need to reach out and ask for help!. Therapy, a rehab program, meds or all of the above can help!. I wish you so much luck and love, and remember you are beautiful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ignore these people, you can't just HAVE an eating disorder, by the sounds of things you seem to be ok, if your asking us if you should be scared then you must be ok, you might have an unnamed eating disorder because you need the whole package to be classed bulimic, included a form of depression, i weighed 9stone and at 6 foot depressed and not eating they still didnt diagnos because i didnt weigh little enough to have anything, but im fine now, you just gotta keep your food in you then you'll be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you mean bulimic!?
sounds like you could have anorexia!.
it may be hard, but speak to your parents about it or a trusted friend!.
bulimics binge and purge, but since your only purging, it sounds like a symptom of anorexia!.

trust me, if you have an eating disorder, you are extremely skinny!. if people say that, you are!. just remember, you're not fat!. whatever your brain is telling you that contradicts this, do not listen!. just focus on the good parts of your body and your life!. if that's not enough, recovering may require a therapist or doctor!. usually, it does!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like bulimia to me!. Except most bulimics don't overexercise, that's usually an anorexic symptom!. But because of the bingeing and purging, I'd say you may have bulemia!. You should probably see a psychologist or a psychiatrist and get diagnosed!. They will be extremely helpful!. Throwing up on purpose is not normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well since no one really knows you on here, i believe your best bet would be going to see your family doctor or dietitian and get some help and real answers to these questions!. there are always possibilities but people on here won't have as good advice as an educated doctor that can look at your facts and statistics!. Hope you can get some real help!.!.!.good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do seem to have a problem with food right now!. You might be obsessing about your appearance, but I hate the label terminology of Bulemia and Annorexia!. I wouldn't be scared about any stupid label, but if the purging continues and gets worse, see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

YES YOU HAVE IT! you need to stop purging before you get into it worse!. think of how nasty it is to do that! it tears your esophagus, also!. your heart gets worse, also!. go to the doctor to find out how to stop if you are too far!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to be purging at least three times a week to meet the diagnosis of bulemia!. Having said that you obviously need help!. It is not uncommon for people with BDD to be bulemic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, this would be a case of bulimia!. Classic advice: Talk to a doctor or other trusted adult, PLEASE!. This is a devastating disorder and have had friends suffer from this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wish I could be of more help, but below I have listed several problem related facts that might be of help to you! Hence, I was struggling with Bulimia for 10+ years and I can relate!. I wish you luck and good health!

~Bulimia is a disorder where the main characteristics are binge eating and compensatory behaviors in order to prevent weight gain!. Bulimics are caught in the devastating and addictive binge-purge cycle!.
~For individuals suffering from Bulimia Nervosa, the binge can be seen as a reward within itself and a way to cope with daily stresses and feelings!. Bulimic binges usually consist of a larger than normal quantity of food, that typically are high in caloric intake!. For individuals with Bulimia Nervosa, the binge eating usually occurs in secrecy and rarely in the presence of others!.
~The types of food vary but are often sweet and/or high in fat content!. Some binges are planned in advance by the Bulimic, but generally they are impulsive!. Triggers for binges in Bulimia Nervosa include dysphoric mood, interpersonal stressors, boredom, prolonged dieting, and body image dissatisfaction

~The binge eating in Bulimia Nervosa may temporarily numb the negative feelings, but this state is quickly followed by feelings of failure!. The Bulimic is often ashamed of their binges and views the Bulimic behavior as a loss of control and a reason for low self-esteem!. This is why it is often hard for Bulimics to come forward and seek help!.
~Individuals suffering from Bulimia Nervosa follow their binge-eating behavior with compensatory behaviors in an attempt to counteract the binge episodes!. The most common form of compensatory behavior for individuals suffering from Bulimia Nervosa is vomiting!. The Bulimic usually induces vomiting directly following the binge!.
~For the Bulimic, the act of purging may temporarily reduce the feeling of fullness and reduce their fear of weight gain from the binge!. Some individuals with Bulimia Nervosa even look forward to the purging behavior as they enjoy the feeling of release the purging behavior temporarily affords!.
~Other compensatory behaviors that individuals with Bulimia Nervosa use in an attempt to prevent weight gain include use of laxatives, enemas, diuretics, diet pills, ipecac, strict diets, fasts, insulin abuse, chew-spitting, and vigorous exercise!.
~Bulimics, like Anorexics, are also obsessively involved with their body shape and weight!. An individual with Bulimia Nervosa will often obsessively check their body size and weight through frequent weighing, measuring, pinching, and viewing themselves in a mirror!. For the Bulimic, the individual's self worth is directly tied to their body shape and weight!.
~Some of the common potential medical complications of practicing Bulimia Nervosa include cardiac arrhythmias, esophageal tears, electrolyte disturbances, gastrointestinal problems, and dental problems!.
~The medical complications of Bulimia Nervosa can be severe and like Anorexia, if left untreated can become life threatening!.

So please get help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you sure your not doing it for attention!. eat and get over it about getting fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
