I think it's normal for some people!. This is the kind of feeling that you can use to make a huge success of yourself!. If you feel like you've accomplished nothing, then accomplish something!. A new hobby is nice, but taking some extra courses at college will help you out in the long run!. Getting a job that will help you to decide on your future career is more advantageous than flipping burgers at micky D's this summer!. Try to get an internship or entry level position in an industry that you think you might want to go into later in your life!. 17 is not too young to be thinking about the rest of your life and planning it!. I planned out my life when I was 17 and I've never looked back!. There have been bumps and roadblocks, but those are just tests of your steel, if you know what I mean!. There is no reason that you cannot make plans for your future now!. They may change later, but having a plan and following it can help the feelings that you describe!. I use goals to help me know how much I've accomplished!. I set goals for every day, month, and year!. My daily goals are simple, finish this work that's due or that cleaning I've been meaning to get to!. My monthly goals are more challenging, maybe finish this book I've been wanting to read, or an extra project at work that will get me noticed by the boss!. My yearly goals are bigger, finish this class to further my education, or start a new business!. The fact that you've finished 11 years of formal education is an accomplishment in itself!. Time does go by fast, but it doesn't seem that bad when you can look back and be proud of what you've done!. I never have found getting older to be a scary thing, I always looked forward to being older so that I would be able to get more respect and people would listen to what I had to say(I now realize it's experience and smarts that gets you the respect I was looking for)!. Even now at 30 I do not regret being older and I know I will die!. It's not exactly what I am looking forward to, but I know I have things to get done before then and this is how I am doing them!. I hope you really capitalize on what you have and one day we can all admire how much you've accomplished!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure it's normal!. I don't remember being scared about growing up!. I do remember thinking: "where will I be and what will I be doing in 2000!?, what will the world I will live in be like!?" It was pretty exciting to look ahead and not have a single clue!

Don't be scared about getting older and growing up!. There are so many exciting things ahead and opportunities to take advantage of!. Life hasn't even started for you yet!. Even though you will grow up physically, there is no reason you can't have a young outlook!. Just think of all the experiences you can't imagine yet and all that life holds for you in the future!.
Now when I look back, I just say WOW, what a ride!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
