Answers:
Turn the volume down a notch lower than you usually leave it!. Sleep a couple nights that way and keep turning it down over time until you have no sound!. Then sleep with just the picture on but no sound for a couple nights and finally, get a night light and when you go for no TV just turn on the night light and turn off the TV!. Hopefully that will help you out!. Best of luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could buy some earphones but I imagine that the flickering light will disturb your friends!. Practice getting ready for bed and start to relax early before you need to go to sleep each night!. Drink some hot chocolate and let everything be still and quiet without the TV!. My friend has the same problem and uses a portable CD player with earphones and plays a U2 disc and she drifts right off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's not uncommon, but, yes - can be annoying to others!. I go to sleep with music playing softly!. The only solution I can think of (and have used) is to just "practice" going to sleep with complete silence!. I've missed several nights of good sleep doing this, but it does work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Having the TV on is THE ONLY way I'll fall asleep too!. It doesn't bother my husband, and when I was younger and had sleep overs my friends did it too!. As for fixing it, you could set the sleep timer on the TV, or try the radio!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my brother does that too!.
well i did too!. then i started just turning it off when i was already closing my eyes!. but not fallin a sleep!. and i just laid in my bed with eyes clothes and thought about stuff and i fell a sleep real quick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pick a favorite show, or favorite music, and run it through your head!. Just like watching it for real, but it gets your brain focused and lulls you off to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my brother does that too!. Try listening to music before bed or white noise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
