My grandfather walking for the first time after a horrible surgery to remove parts of his insides hit by colon and liver cancer!. He has always been a proud man, and on his first walk around his room, he stood on his own, and twirled the cane in the air like a baton and said he since his a$$ was half hanging out (hospital gown) maybe he should try out for the cheerleading squad!.
I knew then he would be ok and I hope to be half the person he is :)
