Do you feel depressed?!


Question: Do you feel depressed!?
I have been in this odd state of depression lately!.!.
Like i have no motivation to do anything like go to the gym or go work out and i am always unhappy!.!.!.

Is there anything i can do to stop these feelingsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Depression lasting more than a couple of weeks can be a sign of clinical depression!.

Symptoms of depression

Stress can lead to you to feeling 'down' and 'miserable'!. What is different about a depressive illness is that these feelings last for weeks or months, rather than days!. In addition to feeling low most or all of the time, many other symptoms can occur in depressive illness (though not everybody has every one)!.

* Being unable to gain pleasure from activities that normally would be pleasurable!.

* Losing interest in normal activities, hobbies and everyday life!.

* Feeling tired all of the time and having no energy!.

* Difficulty sleeping or waking early in the morning (though some feel that they can't get out of bed and 'face the world')!.

* Having a poor appetite, no interest in food and losing weight (though some people overeat and put on weight - 'comfort eating')!.

* Losing interest in sex!.

* Finding it difficult to concentrate and think straight!.

* Feeling restless, tense and anxious!.

* Being irritable!.

* Losing self-confidence!.

* Avoiding other people!.

* Finding it harder than usual to make decisions!.

* Feeling useless and inadequate - 'a waste of space'!.

* Feeling guilty about who you are and what you have done!.

* Feeling hopeless - that nothing will make things better!.

* Thinking about suicide - this is very common!. If you feel this way, talk to somebody about it!. If you think somebody else might be thinking this way, ask them about it - IT WILL NOT MAKE THEM MORE LIKELY TO COMMIT SUICIDE!.

How is depression diagnosed!?

Unfortunately there is no brain scan or blood test that can be used to diagnose when a person has a depressive illness!. The diagnosis can only be made from the symptoms!. Generally speaking a diagnosis of depression will be made if a person has a persistently low mood that significantly influences their everyday life and has been present for two weeks or more, and there are also three or four or more other symptoms of depression!.

Look at the list of symptoms and truthfully answer!. Congratulations on talking about your depression!. That is a big step towards a healthier and happier life!.

im kinda all over the place ill be depressed then insanley hyper then pissed off and raging then tierd then hyper then depressed and it goes on and on and on!!

i dont know how you can stop them to be honest, but if its been going on for some time, see how it goes for another week and if things are still the same see a doctor and they can maybe subscribe you some anti-depressentsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Use some mind power!. Feel good about yourself!. Think of all the happy times you had & the achievements you accomplished!. Try to remember how you felt then!. Slowly, you will have a postive outlook in life again!. Life is too short to be depressed about!. And always remember that GOD is good no matter what!.

ugh im going through the same phase, i constantly think bout how hard life is and all its problems and no matter how hard i try i can't get myself to think positive!.!.!.i dnt believe in any of those psychiatrists or anti-depressants so pls try to find it in your heart to get out of tht stage go out to the beach or somewhere you could be yourself in!.!.!.!.!.hope i helped ; )Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on how long it has been going on!. Sometimes, depression happens when you have disrupted sleep for long periods of time!. Are you others wise in life balance!? Happy with relationships, job!?
I would - drink more water, eat healthier foods, fresh fruits & vegg!.
I would - get more sun, enjoy long walks, and try even time to meditate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

surround yourself with friends and family!! that always has helped me when i've gotten depressed!.!.getting everyone else's good vibes rubs off on you eventually!.!.!.or think of an activity that DOES make you happy!.!.!.!.!.!.If it doesn't work, you might want to go see a doctor and get some meds!.!.!.cause it could be an off balance of chemicals in your body :( Good luck hope you get to feeling better!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hm, i've had those days before!.
I think the best you should do is go to your favorite place in the world by yourself and stay there for a while!.
Sometimes taking everything out of your mind and having peace and quiet helps relax more and takes away depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you're just tired or stressed out!. Try taking a vacation!. Either that or go to the supermarket and buy a catfish!. Play with its whiskers!. Fun! You can eat it once your done!. xD Catfish soup is delicious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
