I feel not so good!. I am mad and irritable and just completely feel that things are hopeless all the time and I want to stop all these feelings!. I don't necessarily want to kill myself, but just sleep for a long time, weeks at least!. Lately i have not been able to sleep without major seditives!. I feel out of control and that everything is falling apart!. I am on meds for bipolar but these feelings are getting worse!. Now i have been seeing things, that disappear in thin air, but i can like feel their presense!. I want things to slow down and stop!. What can I do!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, you can still have manic or depressive episodes while being treated with medication!. First of all, no medication is 100% effective, and many of them in my personal experience are FAR from it!. Second, you may be on the wrong medications for you!. Something different might help you!.

As a bipolar sufferer myself you sound like you're going through a very nasty manic swing!. Hallucinations are not uncommon for bipolar disorder suffers, especially during extreme mania!. This does not mean you are losing your mind or are necessarily schizophrenic by any means!.

I would recommend contacting your doctor and telling them everything you've written here!. If this gets much worse you might want to check yourself into the hospital for observation, especially if you feel suicidal!. Mania tends to causes people to act impulsively!.

I'm really sorry you're going through a rough time!. I know how it feels to be out of control like that!. Just remember it's the illness and not you!. The illness is warping your view of things and making you feel all wrong!. So please seek help from professionals, not us Yahoo strangers, and good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOU NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR AGAIN ASAP, YOU MAY NEED TO SEE SEVERAL DOCTORS BECAUSE YOU MAY NOT HAVE BIPOLAR DISORDER!. IF YOU ARE TAKING MEDS FOR BIPOLAR AND THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE THEN THAT'S A SIGN THAT YOU EITHER DON'T HAVE BIPOLAR OR YOU HAVE BIPOLAR WITH SOMETHING ELSE!. MAYBE SchizophreniaWww@Answer-Health@Com
