Anti-depression medicaion making it worse?!
Question: Anti-depression medicaion making it worse!?
My boyfriend started on anti-depression since he was really depressed and what not!.!.!. now it has made him worse!.!.!. he went from all depressed-sucidal to now all joyful and happy!.
The main thing is I slept in today from 1130pm last night to noon!. He was so freaked out since i didnt answer my phone and he was really worried and he came over and we talked!.!.!. he said he felt like killing himself and just he was annoying everyone!.!.!.
Well for the most part just being over emotional!
But would it be better to try to switch medication or stay on them!?

Rose, he needs to contact his prescribing physician immediately!. Some antidepressants will do just the opposite!. From the short history I have gotten from you, I think he is more likely bipolar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Anti-depressants are a little wierd in some people!.They trick your brain into believing theres more seritonin than there really is!. if your brain already produces enough you simply lose it causing more depressed feelings!.He should go talk to his doctor right away and make sure you keep an eye on him so he doesn't try to hurt himself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
