this could be due to something very basic, such as not eating before class or studying and having your body literally just running on empty, or it may even be due to a depression you may be feeling!. there is also a chance a medical problem is causing your memory loss and focus!. something like attention deficit disorder may be the culprit, which can be treated!. please dont worry about your mental abilities diminishing- if you were smart enough to do well in tough classes before, you wont lose your ability to do so now or in the future!. try taking some ginko biloba (im not a big believer in alternative medicine, but i find that g!.b!. does actually help me a little with my focus) and make sure you eat a protein rich breakfast before class and something before studying as well!. you can also try studying at a different time of the day (such as the morning if you are used to studying evenings)!. theres also a chance that you started really difficult courses, started to doubt you were as smart as you thought you were (which, you still are!), and now are kind of shooting yourself in the foot by focusing on the fact that its difficult and you may not get it!. in this case, get a tutor asap (almost all the top students in college see a tutor at some point or constantly)!. dont worry, college is tough but you can handle it!. they allowed you into the program (and man, engineering is one tough program! i admire you and im going into medical school!), which means you have proved to them that you have what it takes to finish and excel in the program!. they see your potential, im sure your professors see your potential and im sure those who know you see your potential!. now the only person left is you! you are the one who needs to believe in your potential the most!. good luck and dont stress too much over this!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you getting enough sleep!? What about your nutrition!? Do you think you could be depressed!? Are you just dealing with more difficult material, or a higher volume of information!?

There are so, so many things that can cause memory loss, from the very benign to the very serious!. I would say try taking better care of your general health for a while and lower your stress level!. If that doesn't help, talk to your doctor about your concerns, it may be as simple as a vitamin deficiency or it could be something more serious!.

You haven't told us much about the nature and severity of your memory loss, so it's hard to say, really!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
