How can i stop getting so irritable when im depressed?!


Question: How can i stop getting so irritable when im depressed!?
i try to be nice and gracious and polite, but when im depressed i tend to have an unstable mood and am very short-tempered and i wont really have the motivation to keep my patience with people!. i do the same thing whenever i get physically sick; i'll be grouchy and have a short temper because i feel bad enough without people getting on my nerves!. it's not like i go off attacking everyone because im grouchy, but that i just dont want anyone to get on my nerves so if someone is being a pain, i'll be an even bigger pain back, but i keep ending up regretting those things i do and say!.
does this happen to anyone else!? how do i stop this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yup it happens to me alot!. my grandparents even said that they're contemplating to kick me out because they dont like my moods!. i've gotten better tho!. just try to think before you speak and i try to avoid people who piss me off easily when im like that!. its normal so you shouldnt really regret it!. your in a sh!.itty mood and they should understand that or you should tell them that and maybe they will under standWww@Answer-Health@Com

dont worry about it guy!. its part of getting depressed or having clinical depression!. i get very very irritable when i get depressed, and before i got help from a psychiatric hospital it was every day, highs and lows!. talk to a doctor if it bothers u alot!. he might get u a low dose xanax or ativan to calm things down a bit but not enough to get u addicted, which is a good thingWww@Answer-Health@Com

The world is full of people who would like to fly off the handle when they get the feeling to do it!. Everyone gets the urge!. But we learn to control our emotions!. That's part of growing up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow I'm the same way, even when I'm not depressed! So obviously I really don't know!. But if I'm depressed I'm bringing everyone down with me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Part of maturing and gaining more control over yourself comes with time and practice!. When I was younger, I was like this too!. But as I gold older and more mature, I learned to keep my emotions under control!. I try to always live by the golden rule "do onto others as you would have them do onto you"!. No matter what you might be feeling or pain you are experiencing, try to remember that!. You can make progress and have better control!. Especially since you have the desire to become a better person and be nicer to people, you can do it! But give yourself time, be patient with yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
