Does anyone have any information on rapid cycling in BiPolar!? Not experincing episodes but day to day cycles!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Technically, rapid cycling means mood episodes more than four times a year!. Mood shifts within a day is called ultra rapid cycling!. It is rare in anyone older than early teens!. Both are episode switching and can cycle between manic and depression; manic, depressed, normal; and so forth!. I get stuck on a monthly one with one week hypomanic, one week mixed state (hypo and depressed together), one week depressed, one week normal to swing back up to hypo!. Thanks to meds, that's stopped!. This is not at all fun!. It's whiplash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
In general, rapid cyclers experience mood shifts on a daily, sometimes hourly basis!. This type of Bipolar is not common, but can be treated with some of the newer medications like Lamictal!.
Sometimes it is confused with Borderline Personality Disorder!. Borderlines change moods according to the situation, so they shift alot too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
