first I should say that "gotta luv" is incorrect, opiate withdrawal is NEVER EVER life threatening, just hellish is all!

i am a little confused: did u say he has NOT use it in 4 days!? if that is the case then he should not even be going through withdrawals at this point a they usually last bout 72 hours!.

Most will say there is nothing to do to really help with withdrawals but thats usually cuz they are a afraid to take chances(such as very temporarily taking another adictive drug)and cuz most info cant be found!. Im a former druggy so hopefully this will help

For me the easiest way has been to cold turkey the opiate and at the same time "load up" on a benzo, preferably Valium or Librium(cuz of long half life)!. if thats all he can get then thats sufficient however if he can also get clonidine that wld be great as clonidine helps with the sweats, shivers and spikes in blood pressure!. The benzo will take care of the mental and physical(restlessness) symptoms!.

if he cant get the benzoos then he could take a drug calle tramadol which is availale online without a prescription!. this has limited to moerate efficiacy!. just watch for seizure(if he has seizures do not take) i get mine from onlineprescripitonservice!.com!.

btw!.!.!.benzos are only available with a scrip or on the street!. any benzo will do like xanax or klonipin, they will just have to be taken more often!.

since this will make the witrawal virtually painful free, u should let him know that the deeper he gets intoo adiction the less this will help cuz u ont want him getting comfortable with withrawing!.

sorry this is long, but one more thin!. if u guys cant get the benzos he could go to rehab an then he jst nees to lie and say he has been addicted for over like six months and they will likely give him suboxone which will elimiate withrawal!.

if he needs more info on dosing scheule or any other questions have him or u email me!. cheers and good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

You may be acting a bit Co-dependent, but that is another form of 12 Step Program!.!.
One of the most growing form of addiction is people being prescribed medication for a real reason and then find out they're addicted!. If I understand you correctly-he hasn't had anything (morphine) for 4 days!. He's already weened off physically but it's the mental part of his addiction that will have him relapsing!. If he has not used in 4 days he is off, but now MUST learn how to stay off!.
If he was going to have withdrawal symptoms he would already have vomiting diarrhea, muscle cramps and over all flu symptoms!. If he's not experiencing any of those then he has used something in the last 4 days!.
The first step to recovery is honesty!.
Do you live in a state that has state funded treatment centers!? You might want to give him numbers in case HE WANTs to CALL-NOT YOU!.!.!.!.!.!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

If he is dehydrated and in pain, take him to the ER!. Withdrawals can be life threatening!. They'll hydrate him and put him in detox!. The sky will not fall and the world will not end!. He will get help once the morphine has cleared his system, and in some respects that is the hardest period because it's when the psychological withdrawals begin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ARE YOU CO-DEPENDENT OR WHAT!? There is not one thing you can do to help your boyfriend get off morphine!. He has to do it himself!. My advice would be to see a doctor about it and get some rehab help for real!. Morphine isn't something that you play around with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any opiate will inevitably lead to withdrawal symptoms!. That's the nature of addiciton!. He needs professional help to avoid possible major medical problems during a detox!. See medical help now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He needs to have a professional detox at a hospital or at least closely monitored by a doctor!. He cannot stop cold turkey with no assistance!. Withdrawal from opiates can be fatal if done incorrectly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would get him to check himself into rehab!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
