Chronic Insomnia?!

Question: Chronic Insomnia!?
So I've had a sleeping problem since I was 11 or 12!. I can never fall asleep!. I've been reading articles where chronic insomnia is linked to things like depression, eating habits, anxiety, stress, etc!. I honestly have no idea what my insomnia could be linked to!. I am 22 years old and have normal stress like any other college grad!. I don't believe I have depression!. My eating habits are fine!. I exercise during the day, I ran track in jr!. high and high school!. I'm very busy during the day from work and studying (just graduated a week ago so was studying up until that point)!. I mean sure my sleeping schedule must be out of wack from the past 10 years of my teenage and young adult life but this is ridiculous!. I don't want to have to take Lunesta the rest of my life, or any pill for that matter!. I haven't taken it for 2 months and I am getting about 3-4 hrs of sleep a night!. They say it's not a disease but it sure feels like it!.!. advice please!?!?!? I've tried about everything!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Have you tried the relation exercise where you start at your toes and slowly relax every muscle up to your head!? It used to help me sometimes!. There's basic stuff like making your room dark, quiet and a place for only sleep and sex!. Listening to music helps some or watching TV!. TV in my room drove me nuts, but lol, I'd fall asleep in the family room!. There's tea and warm baths and etc!. If you do resort to Lunesta, do it on and off because your body can acclimate and it's effect can stop!. Same with Ambien!. My secret isn't one you want!. The good thing about being diagnosed bipolar is that you get meds that also end the insomnia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
