Question: I got what I wanted after 8 years and now!.!.!?
I lost my ability to work in an industry that I was doing very well in!. My loss from being unable to work in this industry was extensive!.
House, Car, Girlfriend, my dog!.!. all gone!.
I have recently found a way that I can do this work again because of laws that effect me in a different state!.
I wanted this for 8 years and now I have the chance to get back everything that I had!.!. I just want to cry!. I am not happy at all!.

I think it's like that old saying "You can never go home again"!.!.!.!.!.
Meaning, you end up with such negative feelings and bad memories surrounding the whole thing, it becomes tainted for you, and it's never quite the same again!. Like a mild form of Post-Traumatic Stress!.!.!.!.no joke!.
Like trying to resurrect the dead!.
Finally, I made the decision to stop trying to re-ignite what I lost, and start something fresh!. I always mourn my old career, but it's better than going to work every day with a knot in my stomach!.

Maybe there is something in the back of your mind telling you "If I build all this up again, there is a chance I can lose it again"!.
Maybe you are looking to go back in life instead of forwards!. Nothing is ever the same the second time!.
Make sure you are considering going back for the right reasons, otherwise choose a new course in life with new challenges!.
