Help me ... please?!


Question: Help me !.!.!. please!?
I suffer from chronic anxiety and depression!. I am going to go on anti-depressents for the second time this year next week but is there any tips that people have for beating the blues!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, I can't speak for anti-depressants from personal experience but I have heard that they make a lot of people feel more miserable even to the point of suicidal!.!.So please be very careful!. Research the side effects of this medicine!.
These might help you:
1!. Make a list of everything you like and surround yourself with as much of it as possible, for example, flowers, beautiful art, interesting books, good music, snacks, decorations, perfumes, make up, good food, wonderful scents, etc!.
2!. Watch/read/listen to comedy-even if you don't feel like it once you give it a chance you'll probably start rolling
3!. Visit someone with young children or pets- they always cheer me up
4!. Make a list of all of the places you want to go, and start planning!. A change of scenery is always good!. It could be a new store, bar, part of town, class, art show, museum, library, city, state, lake!.!.!.!.!.anything!. It is fun alone or with someone!.
5!. Start a walking routine!. Go where there is lots of people!.
6!. Think of someone who probably needs a helping hand and go help them!. Like an elderly relative who might even feel down too!.
7!. If you know that a specific person/event/place depresses you even just a little steer far, far, far away from him/her/it!.
8!. Join a community club/book club/learn about activism/take a class/church club/support group

I also have anxiety and bipolar!. I take Xanx for this and the most that it dose for me is makes me relax and jello feeling!. I fisrt try to take a bath with lots of bubbles and shut out the world for that hour and then I also go to the club and go swimmingwhere noone can get a hold of me (no cell phones in the pol area) I find that if I do one of these things that I can make it some days with no meds!.

First you need to ask yourself why do you feel that way!.There are many reasons which are causing depression, but please try to think only positive, have fun with friends, get yourself a pet(it is very important), animals can feel your pain, especially in a case like yoursWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe if you like arts and carft yu can do a bit of that, or maybe when your feeling down go for a walk!.
Do you have any pets!? Cause pets love you no matter what and they are the best things for when your feeling down!.
