well, if your talking about nervous before like a performance or interview, or date, etc, what helps is doing something with your muscles!. For example, wall sits, you just put your feet about two feet apart, go a gainst a wall and go down the wall stopping as if you are sitting in a chair!. Your leg muscles should burn after a while taking the nerves away because your body now has a different place to focus it's energy, you can do that with any position though, with any part of your body, arms, legs!.!.!.!.!. anything that will make you "feel the burn!." It's temperary relief but it helps me anywaysWww@Answer-Health@Com

Whenever I'm nervous, I just get my mind off it!. Or do breathing excersises, so you focuss more on the breathing than what you're nervous about!. This is my breathing excersise (which also works when I'm stressed/angry/upset): I breathe in through my nose for 6 seconds, hold it there for 7 seconds, then breathe out through my nose for 8 seconds!. I do this until I'm calmed down!. It works, believe me!. I hope it works for you, too!Www@Answer-Health@Com

take deep breaths thru my nose and exhale slowly thru my mouth, I also tell myself that everything is fine, and say reassuring things to myself to calm my nerves, it sounds silly, but it really works!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take deep breaths, listen to my favourite songs if I'm at home, try to think of something funny as laughing helps you relax and just focus on looking and appearing confident, even if I don't feel it!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com
