Question: Am i depressed, i need help!!! I feel like giving up! HELP!?
Im 17 years old and for the last few years i hurt so much, i always feel lonley and that i need some one to talk to, i talk to myself when im upset, i have self harmed in the past, every time i have an agruement or somehting bad happens everythng just spirals out of control with me and i just feel like falling to sleep and not waking up!?!!?! When im sad it also feels like my heart is braking as if someone is stabbing me from the inside and i get so low i feel like sucide! Is this normal for my age, i do have areally busy lifestyle, What can i do!? is this depression!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's really sad that you're feeling like this!. you have to find out why you're depressed, if it's just because you're lonely, you could try to make new friends!. join some clubs or ask your friends to bring along people they know but you don't when you go out!. chat to people online!. talk to your family about your depression and perhaps you could see your doctor, especially if you're suicidal!. i think anti depressants aren't recommended for younger people though!. it always helps talking to close friends and this is also reassuring because you know someone cares about you and is there for you!. try to spend more time with your family and friends!. i think many teenagers feel like this at some point but are perhaps not suicidal!. i know that i felt like that when i was about 16/17 but life has improved dramatically since then!. you need to focus on the good things in your life and do more things that you'd like to do!. keeping busy is a good thing, it means you're not sitting at home thinking about how depressed you are - which makes you feel even more depressed! think of everything you are grateful for and work on the aspects of your life you don't like!. good luck!.

Sounds like you are on the verge of depression, I know you say you have a busy lifestyle now but try and do something more rewarding that will make you more satisfied with life!. It doesn't need to be much but is there an elderly person in your area that lives alone who would appreciate a bit of company now and then or some help with shopping or walking the dog or anything like that!? it's definitely needed to be taken care off!.
try to talk to ur parents or siblings or friends anyone close to you!.

what happened a few years ago for you to start to feel lonely!?
and to become so emotional!?
it`s not your lifestyle the problem it`s your emotions!. and the more it goes the worst it can be if you cannot find the source of this emotional unbalance!. because now it`s becoming also as a mental disfunction because now you are asking yourself a thousand of questions as why it is!.
until you find the source or the root of the problem you could use some vitamins to help you with your depression!. do you smoke!? if so, take vitamin C and E to help immune system!. take vitamin B 100 or B complex, these will help quite a bit with your mood, pms symptoms and focus!. being outside in nature is also if not the best booster (me i enjoye bike riding)!. as i am exactly like you!. if you do so, you shall start feeling the changes within yourself under 4 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey i know what you mean! i really feel exactly the same as you!.!. loneliness, feels like goin to sleep and not waking up, talking to myself when sumthing bad happens to cover up my feelings, but the only thing thats diff is i never hurt myself!. i wont do that!. m not yet stupid to hurt myself!. so dont do that ok!? DONT!. the person above my post gives you the answer, thts actually what im doing!. aside from that pills!.!.!. i dont wanna take anti depressant!.!. it could probably help a lot of ppl but f i can still solve my prob w/o taking meds then i wud!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
