Is there such a thing as humans having food aggression?!

Question: Is there such a thing as humans having food aggression!?
I hope this makes sense!.

I know that dogs and other animals that have been starved have food aggression and it takes a while to train then again!.

I was wondering though if humans can have food aggression as well!. I think that I may have this!. I am always so scared that people are going to take my food and eat it all and I am going to starve!. When I eat out or at family functions I eat my food really fast and I dont even remember eating it half the time and I always end up eating too much!. I eat alone when I am at home because I am actually able to eat healthy and slow!. I have had an eating disorder for a while now and I am just very curious about this!. I was anorexic for about a year and now I am a compulsive eater!. What a great trasition, yeah right!.

So my question is can humans have food aggresion!?

And please dont tell me to seek help, I know that I need it but money is a problem right now and I am on medication for depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes!. When kids that are poor or starving are "rescued" by child protective services, sometimes they act food aggressive!. For example, they hoard food and hide it or they stick food in their pockets!. And they might fight other kids for food once they get to a place where there is food!.

In fact, some foster homes have to put a lock on the refrigerators to prevent kids from taking everything, until the kids "settle down" and feel safe that there will be enough food!.

The kids are not used to having food nor are they sure that there will always be food, so they do those things!.

This would probably be equivalent to how animals would behave!.

PS: FYI it is VERY common for an anorexic to become a compulsive eater!. They swing from one extreme to the other!. It is very well documented in eating disorder treatment that this happens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would imagine it's real!. Sounds like it could be some kind of anxiety disorder!. (But I'm not a licensed therapist, so don't take that as a diagnosis or anything!.)

You know, many therapists will see patients and offer a payment plan!. And since you're on meds for depression, you must be seeing someone!. Can't you talk to them about this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
