Question: Its almost 3 am and i cant sleep!!!!!!!!!?
i have been laying in bed for about 3-4 hours and i cant sleep!. i tried watching some tv, getting milk, pills are not an option!. so i decied to ask on here!. any ideas on how i can stop this routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand that pills are not an option, but I hope that seeing a doctor is!.

You need to pay attention to this if this is happening more than just occassionally!. If you can't sleep for a whole week, or all the time you may need some help!.

I go to this website all the time!. I don't know what your age is so don't be offended by the kid stuff!.

Yup happens to me too i usualy don't sleep till like 4 or 5 AM but good thing i get to go to work later in the day!.!.but nothing you will eat or drink will really make you tired and nothing else worked so you really should take a few melatonin pills, or at least get a bottle for later use they are not bad for you because your body naturally makes melatonin ( http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Melatonin ) but just relax and put on the History channel or Discovery channel for nowWww@Answer-Health@Com

Is it your school or work day tomorrow!? If yes, you try to go and lay down,close your eyes and relax!. Even if you can't sleep,still close your eyes and think of a natural happy place!. Try to give your eyes some rest!.!.!.!.!. If tomorrow is your holiday, you can continue to surf the web, play some online games or read!. And then when you feel rather tired and sleepy then you can sleep peacefully!.!.!.!.!. Thats a natural way to sleep, so don't drink pills coz it is not going to help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

alright, Kevin, what I do is move all around the bed and find a perfect place to get confortable!. if that doesn't work then read a really boring magazine and then you would have no interest in it and it can make you go to sleep and if that doesn't work then well go upside down and put a pillow on the floor and rest your head on it just make sure your head is side ways and so it your body but you are still on the bed like half way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

or if that was inappropriate, try to stop thinking, like stop any thoughts from entering!. it takes lots of practice but you should get the hang of it in a couple of nights!. or think of dreams you have had before, or things you'd like to dream about!. If you dream a lot like i do that helps!. If that doesn't help, try focusing on the lights that flash behind your eyelids!. It's actually false that milk makes you fall asleep!. The number one non-drug remedy that makes you fall asleep happens to be cherry juice!. By a gallon or so, and drink it before hitting the sack!. I do this along with listening to my ipod and reading a book with the lights dimmed!. I get tired even before my playlist ends!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mabye your a nocturnal person!. I know i am, i perform everyday tasks far better at like 2 am than during the day!.

This sounds stupid but try visualizing something boring as hell!. Like counting sheep over and over in your head!. Your mind will get exhausted and decrease activity!.

Some people even say jerkin it will take some energy out of you!. I know it probably sounds retarded but thats what ive heard lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

close your eyes, and relax every muscle in your body!. EVERY MUSCLE!. Try not to think about anything!. Just look at the darkness!. You'll be asleep in a few minutes!.

coz there are pill-type things u can get but theyre herbal sleeping things
and they just make u sleep good
