My wife also acts like that and at times I believe she is hospital material!. They can't help that !. !. !.it's all in their chemisty and make up!. It can be somewhat controlled with anti-depressants but BEWARE: they will totally kill any sex drive she has left !. !. !. you will go without!.
I bought my wife a "happy light" that duplicates sunshine!. She sits in front of it a min of 20-30 min in the morning and does a lot for her!. I was in charge of a department that had 30 females (all working in small to medium cubicles)!. Many were depressed and the first thing I did as a manager was purchase a bunch of these lights and they passed them around!. It made a big difference and they all thanked me (particularly the few guys were there)!. See the link below about these lights (no, I'm not a salesperson for the company)!.

if you think she has a problem or she acts if she has bipolar, then tell her to see a psychiatrist, and then they can give her medication!. If she really has this problem, if that's not the problem maybe you should both go to marriage therapy!.

I've read some answers, and they think your the jerk, maybe she does have a bi-polar problem, she might need a doctor's help!. And maybe instead of complaining, whining, screaming, carrying on, you could get an appointment for her!. Hold her hand and be there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If they're acting, and may not truly have the condition, then I would say that they're starving for some kind of attention coupled with trying to lure you into a false sense of security and moment of weakness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
