What you are describing has happened to me more times than I wish it had!. My personal issue was diagnosed as tinnitus!. Tinitus is ringing in the ears, and you don't necessarily have to hear them ringing in order to suffer the consequences!. You see, we carry our balance in our ears!. When there is an imbalance, then it will send a message to our brains making us feel as if though we are swinging, swaing, or even falling as you described, when in reality we are perfectly still!. There are several over the counter medications that can help with the dizzy spells, however I would suggest that you go see an ENT, ears eyes and nose doctor (otholaryngologist) to overrule anything else that might be more serious!.

These do come and go, but in time they can get better!. I started having my first episodes when I was in about first grade, but I don't have them as often anymore!.

Sometimes it's a matter of growing out of it, or getting used to it!.

You can find more information on therapy for it:

Or just read about it here:http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/TinnitusWww@Answer-Health@Com

That happens to me, too!. I wouldn't worry about it!. It seems like it happens to me when I'm physically tired but mentally awake, like my body has shut down for the night but my mind isn't quite there yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had that a bit from time to time , I was told that is was due to the stages of sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com
