What can I do about my daughter's tantrums?!

Question: What can I do about my daughter's tantrums!?
My daughter is seven, and a survivor of sexual abuse!. The perpetrator is in prison, and her biological dad wants nothing to do with her!. Of course, she has a lot to be angry about!. However, her major destructive tantrums over minor things like ingredients in salad are wearing on us big time!. We have case workers and therapists, behavior charts and checklists!. She takes medication!. We ignore her if we can, but at times she can be violent and destructive and we need to keep her safe!. She is very intelligent- a recent test put her reading at a 22 year old level!. You'd think we could reason with her that nothing productive will come out of a tantrum!.Still, nothing helps!. She has even been in a psych hospital because her fits at school were so disruptive!. Any suggestions!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It must be very hard for you to considering what your daughter has been through, I would not know what to do if it was my daughter other than keep showing her your love and that you ill always be there!.
I would just keep trying with what your Dr's has advised!.
Good luck, you have both been through such an ordeal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

So your daughter has mental issues now ,cause she is being disruptive at school!. and she display angry moods followed with tantrums ,and she had been in an institution for mental rest, where some therapy was given, and a medication was given to take it regularly , Madam your daughter needs love from every member of the family, cause the poor child was traumatized by sexual abuse, and need to be shown that not every thing that she do, is wrong, she should be lead to feel wonderful and wanted, and please do not say nothing about herWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Cyn,
none of this stuff you've been doing to date can work - but you've realised that already, thank God!.

I do hope that you're now ready to try something way out in left field!. Drop me a private email if you are and we'll take it from there!. Incidentally, I've worked with sexually abused children for nearly 12 years!. I know what's going on - I was also sexually abused at age four, by a woman!.

Blessed be!.
