Answers:
You're not a terrible person, you're doing the best you know how to!. Unfortunately medication does take time to work, and it may not be a "cure" even then!. What you can do RIGHT NOW is 1) have a shower!. 2) get dressed!. Just do those 2 things and see how you feel!. Better!? Or worse!? Then, if you can, and really try to make yourself, go outside!. Walk, even if just for 5 mins, and then you can come back inside again!. Try to do that every day!. Your mother obviously cares about you and has the right idea - you do need to get out - but she may not understand the depths of what you're feeling or how hard it is!. Have you asked your doctor about counselling or therapy!? It can be effective with medication!. Try to contact your friends also, when you feel a bit better!. Even if you can't talk, just write a note or an email, try to explain a little how you feel so they understand!. It may be difficult to see people now, but you'll need them when you're ready!. It can be very hard being friends with someone who's depressed if they never talk and you don't know what's going on!. Just let them know that you're struggling at the moment but you don't want to lose touch!. There are some good self-help books out there, try "Overcoming depression" by Paul Gilbert or "Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Dummies", or do a search on amazon!. Do you live in the UK!? If so, your doctor may know of a scheme where you can get self help books from the library "on prescription"!.

Just never stop fighting, no matter how many times you slip down again!. You need to keep well for your kids, and most of all for yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yep depression, do you feel better in the evening!? If so plan you next day and prepare your clothes for the next day at that time!. Allow yourself to feel a little bit good about your little achievement!. Next day do the task you planned in the morning but allow yourself to veg out between 10 and 11!. Then reward yourself with another task for just one hour!. Prepare an attractive lunch and take your time to enjoy the flavours - no guilt allowed!. Antidepressant medication can take three or so weeks to begin to be effective!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

call your doctor and tell them about what you're feeling!. don't blame yourself, you didn't ask for depression, it just happens!. i know it's hard for you to leave your house but if you can start out slowly by sitting outside your house instead of indoors!. then slowly, start going out for a walk even w/you mum to get some fresh air!. the more you stay inside, the more sick you will get!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are not a terrible person!.!.!.you are in a funk! You are the only one who can pull yourself out!. Deal with the reason you are in the funk!.!.!.possibly get some professional help!. Some people have to hit bottom before they start coming back up!. Just start forcing yourself out!.!.!.join a gym and make appointments with a personal trainer that you will have to pay even if you don't show up, go to the scheduled classes, or meet someone there (maybe your mom)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ur not the only one babe, im with you xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your getting your mum to take your kids to school because your not feeling so well!. That doesn't sound terrible, that sounds like your taking care of things and asking for help when you need it!. Just what you need to do!. Give yourself a break!. Depression is tough, it can take some time to feel better and it can be extremely frustrating!. As for advice!.!.!.get some sunshine, try some exercise (even if each step feels like 1,000lbs), be honest with your Dr!., and try not to be so hard on yourself!. If you aren't already, think about seeing a therapist!. Therapy with medication can be very effective!. I hope you feel better soon! P!.S!.- check out the book "The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression" by Andrew Solomon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds like depression to me!. I have been fighting it for years!. The past two days I have been giving into the saddness too!. It's not too hard to do!. I think I will try to pull myself out by taking it easy on myself and getting out!. Maybe go to the park or sit outside my house in the sun!. That's suppose to help!. I just want you to know, you are not alone in this!. I hope you feel better soon! You are not a terrible person! You are just suffering from something terrrible!. Smile!.!. get out and maybe call a doctor!.
