Answers:
Wellbutrin is the best anti-depressant when weight loss is also a focus!. There's been research into whether it could be used as a weight loss medication!. One of it's side effects is a reduction in appetite!. It helped me lose 30 pounds!.

You want to avoid many of the commonly prescribed SSRI's, as they present a risk of weight gain!. (Most specifically, Paxil)!.

Talk to your doctor or psychiatrist about your goal to lose weight and Wellbutrin!. It may not be the right medication for you but it offers the best chance of weight loss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

thats a stupid reason to go on anti-depressants!. i dont believe you're depressed!. i think this is just another easy diagnosis for some doctor somewhere, i know for a fact the US is very backwards in it's view of mental health, so if you are from there, beware!. they will put anyone on anti-ds to make their lives easier!.

they all work differently for different people is the answer!. people will all have different reactions!. if you ARE depressed, the weight factor is deffo a dumb reason to choose a drug, cos it might not have its proper affect on YOU, you might get a drug that makes you gain which makes your condition better and then again, the one that makes you lose might make your condition worse!. have the one for the condition!.

also, exercise releases 'feel good' chemicals, so try that and kill two birds with one stone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are no antidepressants out there that will help you lose weight!. the only way is diet and exercise!. sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
