Answers:
Yes it is most certainly possible to feel guilty as a part of depression!. It is also possible to feel guilty about something but the depression intensifies it!. From what your saying you feel guilty about things you shouldn't so that sounds like the depression triggering it to me!.
An example might be you didn't call your mother on her bithday as you were in the country and there were no phones available to call her!. Your mother knows this and understands and has no resentment or dissapointment but you feel really bad and the thought of this conjures up feelings of being a bad son/daughter and the feelings and thoughts of this compound to make you feel even more depressed!. Depression often lets small trivial things become huge mental burdens when they perhaps shouldn't!. It is helpful to discuss your feelings with a councilor/psych as sometimes speaking these feelings out can help to alleviate them rather than the guilt manifesting into a major problem!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your depression can make you feel guilty!.
Maybe you think you are not taking charge of things the way you think you should be!.
Your guilt is just another way to beat yourself up which is part of the depression!. You probably feel bad enough already so don't let that guilt sizzle inside you!. I hope you will be doing better soon!. Best Wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, depression can bring on feelings of guilt!. Go see a doctor and see about getting on some medicine for your depression!. :) I have been on medicine to help with my mild depression and anxiety for a couple years now and it really helps me feel much better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
