Answers:
Yeah, cigarettes will help you through that, they're an antidepressant!. But before you get hooked on cigarettes, why not go to your doctor and ask about safer antidepressants like Prozac!? Or even better, Wellbutrin, which has an effect similar to nicotine!. Just make sure you tell him about your history so he doesn't prescribe something addictive and zombifying like the benzodiazepines!. SSRI's and Wellbutrin aren't habit forming!.

Then, if that doesn't work you can smoke!. The people around you won't understand, but it's your life, and for what it's worth, some of us do --starting smoking again lifted me out of a deep depression once!. I've since stopped again without the depression returning -- my life's in a better place, as hopefully yours will be too some day -- but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again if it were the only alternative!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think your seeking comfort through external stimuli (medications)!. Please look at what you can do to assist with addressing the anxiety, such as meditating, sports activities, or something that makes you feel good!. Your life will be whatever you make it!.!.!.think of it as an empty canvas, and you are the artist of your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I really don't know any answers, but I wanted to reply because I'm perscribed to Xanax!. I'm 17 & I've been on it for 3-4 years for depression, and the doctors haven't even tried to wee me off!. I tried to stop taking it by myself little by little, but I get anxiety attacks and all kinds of stuff!. Is this bad!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Congratulations on getting off the drugs!. That is awesome!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you could try chewing but really that isnt good for your teeth or gums but if you find that you really need it or if the keep wanting you to quit smoking chewing would be an option
but i have a lot of stress myself but a hobby helps me to keep it of my mind off it like origami helps me or playing video games but it comes down to you i guess in what you like but i know how withdraws are (not personally) just tough it out and like a said try to find something that takes your mind off everything else!.
I hope i helped you :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

You really need professional help to figure out the root cause!. Mental Health and Medical screening!. Anxiety disorders and depression are real!. You need answers and treatments exist for both!.

Congratulations on kicking those meds!. Realize you took them for a reason!. If you can get to that root cause/reason it can change your life!. EMDR is a tool that works well and some therapists use it!.

In the mean time maybe you should try patting yourself on the back for quiting and making a decision that nobody or nothing is going to control your life anymore!.!. Take control of it and stop smoking !! (might be more dangerous than Clono in the long run )!.!.!.!.and the old cliche that "exercise" really helps!.!.!.!.is very true if you just do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
