Question: Is there a plan to get off Adderall!?
I find it very confusing that Doctors write very high perscriptions to Adderall!. And yet they have no plan to take the patient off!. When I told my doctor I wanted to stop!. He said just stop!. So I did and I could not function!. What the **** do I do now!? I am in no position to have a problem like this!. I have too much responsability!. I am a Teacher I can't just say hey read your books kiddies I'm gonna sleep for an hour or 10!. I am so mad!.I was told by my Doctor this drug will change your life for the better!. Yes it has!. But how long will I have to take this ****!. My dose just keeps on going up really fast!. I am concerned about health issues!. I can't tell anyone because I am afriad I will be blamed!. I am only taking what the bottel say's!. When do the Doctors take part blam!. They all protect each others ***!. I don't want to check in to some rehab and say this is my fault!. How about INS giving 3 days in Hospital to detox off of the **** there selling us!. Sorry I am hurt,angry,blindsidedWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm very interested in this question because I am going through the same exact thing!. I suffered some pretty bad side effects from adderall (eg!. severe dehydration!.!.!.!.!.which I think weakened my tendons and ligaments!.!.!.!.!.and put me in the ER once!.!.!.!.!.!.I've been on this **** for 5 years!. Soon after I started, life did get better, I got a degree in Radiologic Technology and passed my Professional Land Surveyor Exam during that 5 years!. Today will be the 8th day off of the adderall, I was triple dosing, (dont' ask how and I won't have to tell)!. The drug has its pro's and con's!. I've heard of doses from 5mg to 120mg daily!. I have come to realize that before school, when I took it, I suddenly stopped a lot of irrational, self desctructive behaviors, got into school, started slipping a little mentally!.!.!.!.!.needed more adderall to deal with the added stress in my life!.!.!.!.!.!.now as I'm trying to run a Land Surveying Company, and training all my employees and doing the accounting, fieldwork, office work and family!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I needed a little more, but the DR's would not give me a higher dose!. I went into drug seeking mode!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I came clean 6 months later with my wife and Doctor!. You can stop it, you just need to tell people you have a problem you need to deal with and take about 10 days off to sleep, relax and get your affairs in order!. If your like me, you may find out that you really do need the adderall for focus and concentration, not energy!. My energy levels were back to normal within a week!. But focus and concentration haven't come back!. I go to the doctor tomorrow and if they think it's best for me to take adderall, well, I just hope they give me enough to help tackle the additional responsibilities I've picked up over the years!. oh, and I'll definitely drink alot of fluids!.!.!.!.!.!.that's what makes you ache all over, get headaches, dry mouth, and a host of other health problems!. so stay wired and stay hydrated!.

Find a doctor you trust to talk to about this!. And remember, with lots of conditions doctors have to use trial and error to find optimal dosage for people!. If you can't freely talk to your doctor s/he is working in the dark and won't be able to be much help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
