What's a good way to cheer yourself up?!


Question: What's a good way to cheer yourself up!?
This past week I went through a bunch of stuff and wanna know how to cheer myself up because I've been crying a lot!. I talk to my boyfriend, he hlps a lot but he's leaving out of state for a week and I'm not allowed to have any contact with him at all until next week!.I don't really have any close friends I can talk to because all my friends have backstabbed me!. I'm 16 if that helps, and I want besides listen to music cuz I love music but can't find any songs to help me!. And I'm like crying right now by the way!.!.!.lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey!. It is the summer so maybe go and volunteer at an animal shelter!. Animals always cheer people up cause they are so cute and soft!.

Other than that: Allow yourself to feel your upsetment!.
Pick a day, get some junk food and some movies!. Lie on the couch with a blanket and feel sorry for yourself!. Allow one day of this!. Then the next day think "Life is too short" and get out and find something you like to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What I would do is write down a list of things you enjoy!. I would also make sure to tell someone how you feel!. Holding things that trouble you inside can physically and mentally drain you!. Back to the things you enjoy!. Find one you like the most and do it with someone you really enjoy spending time with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exercise is a good outlet!. You can go on a walk, hike, or do a vigorous run!. Sometimes being outside is good!. You get fresh air, the sun (good for Vit!. D), birds flying around & chirping you see things you'd miss if you were inside feeling sad!.!.!. also!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Studies prove that exercise releases 'happy' chemicals from your brain called endorphines!. Hope you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

watch a funny movie or do something with friends!. watch your favorite funny tv show!. sometimes you just have to sleep it off or relax when your upset, thats what i do, I just take a small nap and when I wake up I usually feel better!.

Try listening to a comedian like Dane Cook (hilarious) or watching some SNL skits!.!.!. that stuff always makes me laugh when I'm feeling down!.

One sure way to distract yourself from your hurt feelings is to think less of yourself and much more towards others!. Consider doing the best that you can (within your means) to helping people that you both know and do not know!.

Examples:

Offer to help cut grass/run errands for some nice and disabled people that you know!.

Offer your free time to a large charity group such as the United Way or Salvation Army in your area!. They can always use free and able bodied labor!.

Volunteer time at a local nursing home or hospital!. Those people are definately having a worse day than you :)
