Question: Spatial disorder help!?
I was tested last year and I have s spatial disorder, and I really suck at judging distance!. And I went out to eat w/ my parents and they let me drive back home!. I couldn't stay in the middle and kept nearly hitting cars on both sides!. My parents have been insulting me behind my back for nearly half a hour!.I'm so po ed at my parents that I want to go sit in their car and suffocate!. Can someone give me ideas how to overcome my spatial disorder!?(Please no insults I've had enough from my parents!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on what the cause of your spatial disorder is!. If it's simply an issue of poor spatial perception, there are devices available to help you manage (everything from special glasses to certain surgeries)!. If it's more of a processing issue (neurological), consider building aides into your everyday life!. You may be able to modify glasses to help you orient yourself spatially (read Oliver Sack's case study "On the Level" in "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat")!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
