Being too sensitive about everything.. depression... anxiety, self-harm?!


Question: Being too sensitive about everything!.!. depression!.!.!. anxiety, self-harm!?
I'm a very depressed, lonely, insecure, overly sensitive person!. I take things too personally!. I don't have a good sense of humor!. I take offense at things that a normal person would just brush off!. If someone says something mean to me I cry and cut myself about it!. I also have violent tantrums and mood swings!. I cry and bang my fists on my knees and bruise myself!. I slap my face til it's red and pull out my hair!.

I had a nervous breakdown last Christmas and attempted suicide!. The police came and took me to a psych ward where they held me as a "danger to myself" for 72 hours!. They put me on an anti-depressant which didn't help at all!. I constantly think about dying!. I'm also a very shy person!. I vehemently despise others and yet I crave social interaction, but I know I would never put myself in a social situation!. What's wrong with me!? Where did I go wrong!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

honey, there are several illnesses that you may have that causes you to feel so many bad things!. Its not your fault or anything you've done wrong!. or nor is there anything you can do to change it by yourself!. all the things you describe come from mental illness, which is an unbalancing of brain chemicals!. you maya have several issues bothering you!. you can have an anxiety disorder, you may be bi-polar, or have ADHD!. you really need to go to a website called MedCentral and look up mental illnesses and checkk out the symptoms for each illness!. you will honestly find yourself in some of these symptoms!. and i hope then that you will realize that this isnt cause your a bad person or that there is something wrong with you personally but that you have an illness just like diabetes or high blood pressure and it won't go away on it's on!. you said you took anti-depressants once but they did no good!. it took me a year to find the right one, but believe me it is worth the wait to find it!. because i felt like I'd been sitting in a dark room for years and suddenly with the right medication, someone turned on the lights and i could see things in a much better way!. please, get yourself to a psychiatrist who is qualified to diagnose you!. not to a place like where you went before!. ask your general practiconer, your doctor, to referr you to a psychiatrist for evaluation!. then go there and be as honest as you can be!. they will put you on meds but it takes about 4 to 6 weeks before you can tell if they are working!. just hang in there!. if the first one don't work stop that one and try another one!. believe me you will find the right one and your life will turn around!. you will get to a place with time that you look back and don't even know who that person was anymore!. Maybe you have been hanging around mean people! If you are despising other people you may have a reason!. Some people are not nice if they know you have a problem!. I've found the nicest most caring people are in church!. I go every week to worship God and I really enjoy being with people who love God!. If you're shy you can work on this a bit, but stay away from bad influences and people and seek out good people!. That will help!. You need to find a therapist that you like and who will listen to you!. There are many good ones out there!. Find one! What you're describing is not normal!. You have done nothing wrong and you should not live this way!. There are lots of things that can help you, but you must take responsibility and get help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been too sensitive, too!. I went to a natural Holistic MD and along with other symptoms, she is 99% sure I have adrenal fatigue!.
If at all possible, write down any and all weird/not so weird symptoms and see one of these docs!. Do not waste your time with regular docs!.

First, for yourself don't eat anything that tastes sweet, no pop, no coca cola of any kind!. replace with saltly foods, bread!. Sit down and eat three meals a day real healthy food only!. Drink tea or DEcaf coffee, no pizza, no pasta, vegetables like raw baby carrots, cooked spinach, try omelette to start, lots of orange juice, no sugar cereals!. Make sure you eat a healthy lunch!. no potato chips, not even french fries!. no snacks from store, groceries only!. take the best multivitamin you can find at a health food store!. eat canned fish if you can't get fresh fish, and peanut butter!. Get to doctor, say you have serious depression and ask for mental health counsellor, through mental health team!. many go through what you do!. take cool baths or showers!. See Mental Health Team (clinic, nonprofit, they will help) When upset with yourself, say im just angry,Punch a pillow first, then cool shower, bath!. Don't give up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, it comes from the same place that every other emotion comes from - your subconscious mind!.While you can choose your emotional state, people seldom do!.

It's just like your breathing!. You can consciously choose to control your breath, but it's unlikely you'll do it for any length of time!. As soon as you stop focusing on it, your subconscious is right there to take up the slack!.

Likewise, you can consciously choose your emotions, for the most part!. You can choose your happiness, for example!.

You can choose to be happy!. (How long that happiness lasts is a much different story!. It may be only a moment!.!.!.!.) Usually, depression is triggered by anger!.

good news: most depression can be reversed!. Basically, it comes down to changing your relationship with your emotions!. To make them an ally instead of an enemy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
