You are over the age of 14, so you can be responsible for yourself medically!. You can make an appointment with the local health department and they will help you!. First off though you need to tell your parents you want to go to the doctor, if they won't take you then you will have to ride your bike or take a bus and go yourself!. Most health departments will help you and you don't have to pay!. You need to do this as soon as possible!. Surely you have one adult or older relative that will help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a hard thing to talk to your parents about things like this!. I think you're really brave to ask this question on the internet!. You need to talk to someone about this, if you don't feel like you can talk to your parents about it, talk to someone that you are comfortable with!. Maybe a grandparent, a relative, a school counselor or someone that you know will listen and take serious!.

Once again, you are headed in the right direction and you'll make the right decision, I'm confident in you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good for you for knowing that you need help!. As a mom I can assure you that your parents want to know about this!. If you feel that you can't tell them in person, send them an email, or print out your own question here and put it on their pillow or somewhere else you know they will see it!.

Here's all you need to say to get the conversation going!.

"Mom and Dad, I need your help!. I am severely depressed and need to see a doctor immediately!. Please come and talk to me!. Love, Your Child!."

If they don't respond appropriately, go to your doctor directly!. In California teens over 12 can seek medical treatment without parental consent!. I don't know what the laws are in your state but you need to act on this immediately!. Wishing you the best of health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all if your hearing voices that arent there!.
How do you know there not there!?
As for hurting yourself that's just so not right!.
Tkae your anger out on soemthing else!.
as an object; pillow!.
Tell your parents you feel like you need to go to the doctors and get checked out; you don't need to come out and say yorudepressed because your nto even sure if you need medication!.
it might just be all in your head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My best advice to you is to go talk to your parents and let them know exactly how you feel!. It may be weird now, but it is the best advice!.

If you are not comfortable enough with them, you may want to speak to a guidance counselor, teacher, or any other person you are close with at school!.

There are definitely things that can help your problem, so the sooner you talk about it the sooner it will go away!.

Options!.!.!.how old are you!?

-You can see your school counselor for a referral!.

-You can make an appointment with a general doctor and discuss the emotional problems you're having!.

-You can write a letter to your parents if telling them is intimidating!.

-You can call various mental health facilities in your town for options on where to go!.

There is always help!! You just have to find it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just tell them or show them this question and tell them that it's you!.

Ask them to take you to see the doctor and tell him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to tell your parents!. Believe me, they would want to know!. Sometimes, it scares the hell out of me reading about teenager life and death problems and they don't want to talk to their parents about it!. You HAVE to, that is the only way to get the professional help you need! If you don't know how to talk to them, go talk to your guidance counselor or talk to the family doc and have them act as a go between!. Or maybe you have an uncle or aunt that you get along with really good that you think would be a supportive listener!.

I am 43 and wasn't able to have kids because I got bipolar disorder and didn't get treatment for it, so it got worse and I got really disabled by it!. You could be getting bipolar or schizophrenia or really bad psychotic depression, and not treating it makes it worse so maybe you won't be able to have a normal life (like me)!.

Please go talk to mom or dad about this right now!. If you wait, it will be harder!. They will want to help you! You cannot understand how much your parents love you because they put rules on you and sometimes get mad or frustrated at you, but there is no love like a parent's love of their child!. Let them be the adults and find you the professional help you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
