Question: My social anxiety phobia is ruining my married life!?
i have social anxiety, i dont have any friends , i cant even talk to or be around my family without feeling unconfortable!. Im married and my husband thinks im boring and i never want to do anything outside the house!. I really want to change but its so hard because when i try to put my self in those uncomfortable situations it always feels like im trying to hard and people end up just ignoring me!. I dont have medical and i dont know what i can do to fix this problem now!. i really feel like i need someone to talk to or im going have a nervous break down or something!. It seeems like when i talk to my husband he says he doesnt understand or he just changes the subject!. I feel like without some kind of medical ill never get better!. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get a cheap medical plan to help me or a group conseling type of treatment!. How do i make my husband understand that this is a real problem that i wish i could get overWww@Answer-Health@Com

I also suffer from it, along with getting treatment through a cognitivre behavioural therapist along with anti-anxiety medications I'm also reading a very helpful book that's endorsed by medical associations across europe!. its called 'overcoming social anxiety and shyness'by Gillian Butler!. Buy it, highlight the crap out of it study it and take the advice in it!. More importantly you should arrange tho see a psychiatrist so he can assess you and refer you to an expert in the field of anxiety!. Social anxiety is VERY treatable with very high success rates so don't despair!. Maybe bring your husband along so he can hear it from the horse's mouth that it is a very real and dabilitating condition!. Best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

ok, switch roles!. the same was going on in my marriage!. except it was with me the husband!. you should not let $$$ stop you from seeing a counselor and getting medical help if necessary!. we were married 25 yrs!. I am ordained licensed minister (yeah I know)!.!.!. and we had 4 kids!. I was actually getting much much better, but did not realize she had already given up on me!. She left 70 days ago and is not coming back!. My heart is broken and it is too late now for what ifs!.!.!. please get help and let him know you are getting help and that you believe the help will succeed!.
